Isn't the cover about young hot Hollywood?

Those women are all older ^.

If I'm not mistaken, all of these cover girls are under 25.

smart young guy that you are for pointing that out and can we just all agree that the cover photo was shot months ago...selected for cover and the magazine is already on the newstand...for the love of god people it's a done deal!!!

From my understanding it's not age, it's just that the cover is supposed to reflect what direction Hollywood is taking...the "new" hollywood meaning more of "these are the people who are hot right now".

...cause if these are the prior ones...uhm...Harrison Ford is fucking old. So unless age is a new requirement it's not based on how young the people are.

But I don't read the shitty magazine (yes, that's my opinion. Most popular magazines aren't worth money because it's a bunch of typed vomit I don't feel like wasting my time on...unless there are articles about things more important than the trivial lives of celebrities and "what's hot". I much prefer to decide what I think is hot by myself) and I don't plan on reading it.

I'll just stick to Game Informer and 3D World. Much more important and interesting. :D

I love the piece about Kim Novak and Sammy Davis Jr on one issue of Vanity Fair.

Pick my battles, this isn't my battle, you seem to be reading way too much into this. Last I checked this is a message board a place where folks disscuss different topics, is it not? Those magazines you named don't have white women because black & other non white women were never included in mainstream mags, so they had to create their own, not because of some black pride. You might as well agree to dissagree, because we're never going to agree on this topic.

Exactly, who said anything about battles, this is just another interesting topic on a messageboard were folks are expressing their opinions.8)

I defended BW in another thread, so in turn, it seems as if that's what I'm doing here, when my point isn't about them, it's about diversity. I'd say the same thing if it were all about WM.

Anyone getting upset by this is in turn giving way too much power to mags like Vanity Fair. Vanity Fair shouldn't determine who is hot. I remember when they had Gretchen Mol's erect nipples on the cover, I really thought she would go places...This controversy, whether they created it or not, just further establishes the credibility of these Hollywood spreads. Vanity Fair is a high-end/gossip/lifestyle magazine that is really vapid, but they apparently still have a lot of power in this weakening publishing business.

I subscribe to Vanity Fair. I aspire to be in the magazine's socio-economic bracket :D But they are trying desperate cover ploys now to keep people interested, like the shirtless/thugged out Tiger Woods last issue. Tasteless.

He needs to go gangsta'. Chang his name to "Tigga" That way, he can re-create his image and gain creditability with the neglected sistas.

    :p

That's just to try to repackage him for the disgruntled sistas or the gangsta rap crowd. Just use your imagination here. :smt081
