Diddy's Interracial Photo Shoot Annie Leibovitz shot these for (U.S.) Vogue. Here he is with model, Natalia Vodianova. More here: http://fashiongonerogue.com/2010/01/vogue-us-natalia-vodianova-diddy-by-annie-leibovitz/
People were hating of course. Besides that, they were saying that they look like they don't have a connection in these photos. I like them too. I especially LOVE the first one.
Morgan Freeman and Lara Stone Bruce Webber did a photo shoot of Morgan Freeman and Lara Stone in a piece called Takin It to The Streets on the June 2009 Vogue magazine.
Ugh. Can't stand Diddy. I'm tired of seeing him being chosen for photo shoots as if he is some representation of black suaveness.
I'm a huge fan of Annie Leibovitz. Her photography is simply amazing and she's done it again in these shots. :smt038 I'm not a fan of Diddy either, though.
I've also added this to my 'Not Together But Looking Good' thread': http://www.whitewomenblackmen.com/forum/showthread.php?t=12640&page=10
Georgous pics- I love the light, the mood and the clothes (suit with cuff buttoms).. how much do I love, when bm are dressed like he is But it really looks as if they wouldn´t have any connection together that was also my first impression...
J Spunk you removed your objectivity because of your dislike for Puffy. Sure they could have chosen any number of models but "those" photos look good. If Puffy was a no name not only would you like the photos I would imagine a number of women on here would have their panties in a bunch...
I agree. I like Puff as business man and as a music producer. But his got this huge ego and he wants to be in everything. 1. He is not a good actor 2. He is not a good rapper 3. He is not good looking or even exotic material in weird way to be a model 4. He is not a director 5. He is not fuuny to be in relaity show-I do like the show (I want to work for diddy) it is very well scripted and done but puffy should make very minimum apperance. He wants to be in everything. C'mon bro, stick to what you do best!
They wanted it to be controversial in that he's paired with a white chick, but physically distant so as not to offend Puff's black female fan base. They settled for the middle option, hence it's run of the mill.
You hit the nail on the head, but as we know, they were still saying: How come they couldn't get a Black model etc.?
Well, they would be pissed no matter what, but the level of it is inverse to Puff's physical proximity to the model. And forgetting of course all the photo shoots I've seen with black female models/actresses and white boys.
