Tarot Cards and Palm Readings

My neighbor is into tarot card reading and once did for me.What she figured out was somewhat accurate.
Never tried again though...

 

In honour of Divine DH and IB's recent conversation this thread has been resuscitated!

I am a fan of tarot and other pursuits. Despite a heavy proclivity for science and left brain activities, the spiritual side of life has always fascinated me. I have 3 decks myself, only two really work for me and I rely heavily on my intuition in my life. We all have it, it's just a matter of listening to it and fine tuning it.

I love meeting people who find this stuff interesting and don't shun the idea of anything "spiritual" that isn't religious.

I agree. Intuition is very strong and it does gnaw at you to listen to it and even if you don't...lol

What has been your experiences that came true or through for you?

I never knew about my "ability" until I was older. My parents were always heavily into psychics. They saw a very famous one back in the day who told them their youngest daughter (yours truly) has some psychic ability. Then that guy recommended a psychic who was in his group and they went to see her. She is and was the best they've ever seen. She was on point about EVERYTHING. She too said the same thing about me without having met me. I take psychics with a grain of salt and see what each ones have to say. I love to get readings.

My father and I have a discussion about this every now and then and he feels (and I have to agree), that just cause a psychic has the ability, doesn't mean she/he can read everyone. Like when you see a psychic in a room reading everyone. I don't think everyone has that open vibe about them like other people do. I like watching John Edwards and watch him pick out people who he has a connection with (from the dead). That seems on point to me. Just like the readings I've had in the past, some I walked away going WTF? Then some others, they were more on point. I like when they name names.

 

I feel that those cards were meant for you and they chose you. I also think that lady felt your spiritual vibe hence giving you those cards. Cause you notice how you never really discussed anything? She sensed that about you.

Those people who touch your cards interrupt the energy and vibe. They don't understand that...lol I'm glad you give them a dirty look. You should smack their hand too...lol

Remember I mentioned my Love Tarot cards? When my friend and I used to read them, I'd sit a class of water next to us to cleanse the spirits...lol None of that crap worked.

It's an unexplainable thing about our connections with people and especially the guys we get with. I met my guy and we hit it off instantly and it was funny cause I felt like God was testing me. This other guy who I deemed my first real love, came back into the picture at the same time. It's like he wanted me to see if I was really over the old guy. Anyways, my soul mate connection I had was very deep. I'd know when he'd call me. I knew if I would drive down the street that I'd see him. I'd know if I were going to frequent a place that he'd be there. Then one night, I was really depressed and upset and he called me. I think at this time, we fizzled out for a minute and he felt something was up with me. I don't know how strong his spiritual connection was with me from his end. Looking back in retrospect, I think his vibe was extremely open and I was able to hone it on it. I get that with some people who I get really close to. It's probably also cause he had a spiritual side too. I thought I saw him 2x (once last week and another like last year). I took off running. I don't want to see him. It's funny cause I had a very close friend who I ended that friendship with in like '01 who knew all about him from afar. Fast forward...Why did I see a pic of them on a club pix website? I'm like wow. They can have each other...lol

 

Britty knows a lot bout this kind of thing...gee, I miss her.

I've always wanted to go to a psychic to see what it was all about.

But, besides the fact that I don't have the money to do it right now, I'd also like to go to one that I know has a good reputation, so I won't feel as though my money were wasted.

I'd love to get my palms read or my tarot cards read from someone. That would be a fascinating experience.
