No he's not a jerk because he has 'standards', he's a jerk because he was a completely rude asshole. I assume he could read, given that he managed to read the number on the profile and call IrishChick. She clearly stated her opinion of her weight, and posted a pic. He still called. To then grill her to the point of asking how she let herself get overweight is beyond rude, that is complete asinine fucktard behavior. That she continued to talk to him amazes me because I'd have ended that conversation immediately.

As a general rule, it's poor form to ask anyone's weight and measurements on the first call, email, chat, whatever. It makes you look like a shallow ass. I get that people don't want to waste time on someone they think they may not find physically attractive, but clearly either he liked what he saw, or he's just looking for a quick lay, in which case why the hell does he care what her weight is since he's not sticking around anyway.

Are you psychic, or just illiterate? Because IrishChick said she found black men attractive and masculine... but nowhere in her post did she say she thought that the color of her skin would allow her to have any black man she wanted. You rather clearly have a dim view of white women, and are one of those people whose motto is "all white women that like black men are unattractive or undesirable". That songs getting a little old, maybe all you narrow minded assholes should get together and pool your 5 working brain cells and come up with a new verse at your next chapter meeting of Self-Righteous Hypocrites for Racial Purity? It's not about standards. She didn't lie in her profile. If he had issues with a woman who had "a few extra pounds" then why did he bother calling her? She was being honest and this guy called her and proceeded to grill her about her weight and why she gained weight. WTF is that all about? If he's that shallow, then why bother calling a woman who puts "a few extra pounds" on her profile?

As for the rest of this drivel, I'm not going to get into it with you. This topic has been rehashed ad nauseum on this site.

It doesn't matter. He's obviously just an asshole. And I hope you're not reading these comments from the blatantly trolling dickhead. We get these sort of people around here constantly, saying the same stuff over and over. Makes me wonder if they're not all the same person, honestly. Regardless of who they are, and regardless of how that guy acted, there's still plenty of people out there who'd love you for you, not how you look. And there are also plenty who'll love how you look, too. The one to look for has both qualities.

Also...some men seem to get more retarded as they age when it comes to dating standards, btw. I've seen those types. Double standard having motherfuckers who expect women to look like they're 20 until they die at 80 even though they're bald, fat, and can't get a hard on without viagra. *rme* Those one's certainly aren't your time.

Oh my gosh, you are so wrong about that. Wrong, wrong, wrong. I am not looking for someone who has a perfect body by any means. How could I hold someone to a standard even I don't meet? That would be hypocritical. At this stage in my life I am much more interested in character compatibility. And yes, some chemistry would be nice too.

Wrong again. I have two white guys pursuing me very aggressively right now. And they are not exactly slackers. In fact, one of them is skinnier than me (!!!!!) and both of them are successful businessmen. One of them calls me every night and wants me to go long term with him.

It would help a lot if African students studying in Europe or other white countries, were allowed to remain after their studies. these students are educated and are an asset to the country. Also younger people are more open to IR.
