Do you still feel guilty?

Now that's what I'm talking about! It feels great when to have a swf on my arm. Sometimes, it is hard (pun intended) to control myself when we're out 'cause the lady looks so hot I just wanna do her in public right then and there! lol

 

I certainly dont feel guilty. To feel guilty would imply that I am doing something wrong. I know my bf feels the same and feel great pride to have a loving European white woman. Rather than feeling guilty he loves to show me of to his friends.

I would agree with that statement. There are bw/wm couples in So. Cal., so for those women, white men are right for them. It isn't a "put down", just a phrase that describes MY personal preference and not a general prescription for all men. If you're offended, then that's on you.

I thought this was a site that is dedicated to the BM/WW relationship, and our passion for eachother. This is OUR place, no one intends to be offensive to anyone, but with all due respect, we are at liberty to say just about whatever we want in this forum, and who are you to tell anyone what they should, or should not say in here. As an educated person, you should know the First Amendment, Freedom of Speech.

If you're offended, then maybe you should find a WM/BW site.

I do apologize to you for mistakenly assuming that you were a BW. We may not agree on the exact interpretation of natedogg's quote, but I do agree with you, in the fact that no one should ride down on anybody else, be it BW, WW, WM, BM. But IMO, his quote was not a put down of any one group of women in particular, the "quote" does not make any reference to Black Women at all, that's how you read it. In fact, based on his quote, you could say, Asian, and Hispanic women would not be included in his preference either, so he dates WW exclusively, to me, that's all natedogg is saying. You may disagree, but to each his own. Regardless, he should still be allowed to say what he feels, without censorship. Just like you are at liberty to say you don't appreciate it.

 

Again, this is all fine and good but nowhere in my post did I put down black women. I didn't even mention them. So people can read things into statements that aren't really there and make something out of nothing.

 

if you feel guilty, maybe you shouldnt be doing it. one thing to want to do it, another to do it. guilt suggests many many other ideas working in the background.

 

At times I do feel guilty as if am neglecting my own race with the percentages being high for black women being single.

 

I was listening to the radio the other day, and this guy stated this statistic staying, "42 percent of black women aren't married."


Now, I'm not sure where he got this statistic from nor age group he was referring to, but I just thought I'd share considering you said that.

I've seen that statistic and I believe it is from the 1990 US census. The most recent statistics show it as 43.5% for BW and 22.9% for WW: http://www.census.gov/population/www/socdemo/marr-div/2004detailed_tables.html

Now granted that doesn't account for the entire population, but the percentages do provide a vague idea of the disparity between the general unmarried number of WW and BW. Not sure if you can draw any conclusions based upon only that one figure, since the reasoning behind why someone does or does not marry isn't known, about the only thing I get from it is that 43.5% of BW are smarter than I was.

 

Maybe it has something to do with overall population.

As in, the percentage of each ethnicity throughout the US.

Maybe those with higher percentages have higher marriage rates?
