Awww damn. That sucks. External hard drives are the way to go. And they're hella cheap. And the storage space gets bigger and bigger. They're up to 6 FUCKING TBs!!!!! OF course, who needs ALL that. You can get 500 gigs for like 80.

Being on a dating website has taught me a lot about myself. By the way I'm handling things, I've realized not only how ready I am to be dating, but also, that I've finally grown up and am now taking care of me.

I sometimes feel bad for thinking the way I do, but when a guy displays even the slightest needy behavior, the first thing I think of is: done.

Before, I would have given him the benefit of the doubt. But I'm so done with drama.

This is just one of many scenarios: a guy gave me his number on Sunday. I thanked him for it and told him I'd text him probably on Tuesday. So, today, being Tuesday, at like 1 p.m. I get an email from him saying: how are you? I'm still waiting for your text.

I read that last line and immediately thought: done.

Maybe that's wrong of me, I don't care. I don't want a needy man who already brings drama into my life before I've even talked to him. Even the smallest amount of drama displayed now, is just a precursor for later.

Another guy on IM told me he doesn't easily trust people. I immediately thought: done. LOL.

This has been quite the learning experience for me.

    Dont feel bad
    I do the same thing....
That behavior highlighted above, I would go "done" as well.
    :)

    Thanks. :-D

I was a little worried I'd be labeled as "picky", but I've just had enough drama in my life to last me a lifetime. I want a guy who is secure in himself to not display these types of behaviors. And I have found some guys like that, so it's all good!! :smt023

I'm on a few sites as well, and met some new guys, but not in person yet. I was conversing with one guy in particular who gave me his info and I texted him and we've texted a few times. He said he wanted to meet soon, but thought we should catch up over messages (this was in between a break from not talking). I said okay, but I'd like to talk on the phone first. He said he'd call me the next day and never did. So I was like, forget him. He texted me today and wanted to meet, yet I thought he said he wanted to talk more just like I did. I told him I'd feel more comfortable that way. He said he'd call me tonight. Again, to no avail, no call. He's wasting my time by saying he'll call and not doing so. If you're busy, cool, but don't say shit if you're not going to do it.

Yeah... I wasn't taking him too seriously after he said he'd call and didn't. I know people are busy, but we all know when someone wants to do something, they make time and do it.
