If you couldn't be in NY, my next choice would be Chicago (I live here, but I'm not biased), Florida (I have a condo in New Symrna) great place, been to a lot if places in Florida that are very accepting. I don't live in LA, but the several times I have been, it seemed very accepting. LA people have any input, I think I've heard people say it was accepting as far as IR.
Chi Town would be cool, im a huge Derek Rose fan Althrough i hate the cold and Chicago is suppose to be freezing in winter, ohwell im sure i will have fun wherever i go I will keep all ur suggestions in mind...does anybody know what Maryland is like? i was thinking that would be a good state, close to NYC
Very close to DC too. Check out Silver Springs anything in Prince George County. DC is a great city for dating and meeting people. Very friendly city
I have been living in the DC metro area for a couple of months now. Maybe it’s me, but I feel that a lot of people in the area are snobbish.
OK, I’ll give Georgetown a shot. What places do you recommend? On to Foggy Bottom to make friends and meet people my age (early 20s).
They call my crib the "good city" and my living room is very IR friendly. :smt042 In all seriousness, NY, LA, Chi are good choices.
DC Chillin sounds good, just looked it up, the building are old and grand which i like and there is Georgetown uni. Im going to college when im over there to study photography so no doubt i will meet people there. Noidea what's foggy bottom?
Foggy Bottom is a metro stop in the historical area of Georgetown. There is a free shuttle to the Kennedy Center, theater for performance art. I can recommend a few good spots, what are you into?
Whats the night life like? i deff will be going out and clubbing abit. I love shopping, meetin new people, i wanna see some basketball games, i would just explore the whole city ya know, that would be exciting in it's self, i never been to America, have always been fasinated by that place.
To be honest the nightlife in DC sucks. There are lots of lounges and very few clubs. I know of only one club worth going to and avoid lounges since they cater to patrons in their 30s and older. Adams Morgan is played out. The Verizon Center is the place for sporting events and concerts. If you do decide to come here I’ll do my best to show you a good time.
Everyone has different tastes. I have been to Love and Fur, yet I didn’t like those places. The last time I went clubbing was back in August at a club called Ultrabar; I liked it, for the DJ that was playing that Saturday night was great. I’m not bashing the DC metro area, for there are some great things to do/visit and I go out, but in my opinion the nightlife isn’t good.
