I just thought I would start my first thread with the intention of gauging whether I would be welcome to continue posting here.

The image in my sig? Just a picture that caught my attention. No malice behind it at all. Sometimes a beautiful picture is just a beautiful picture!

 

Thanks Bookworm! Now for a change of pace, how do you feel about the influx of e-readers coming to market? I like the look of the Kindle and the idea that I could instantly purchase books for reading sounds too good to pass up.

Are you a convert or are you a purist? Some of the latter are offended by the whole idea of reading from a screen!

 

I'm a purist.

However, if it gets more people reading, then hey, there's nothing wrong with that. I'm also one that can't listen to books either. For some reason, I can't retain the words if they're read to me as well as when I read them for myself. I can listen to lectures and retain things from there without issue (maybe because I'm usually taking notes), but if someone reads something to me, forget it.

Anyway, I digress. LOL. I like to feel the book in my hand. :smt023

That's a fair question.

My interest in, and affection for, black male/white female erotica led me to various websites specializing in the subject. Unfortunately, many of these sites are just plain disgusting (eg. DarkCavern) and are simply a rehashed version of the same bigotry that once made these types of unions illegal and taboo.

Also, this is one of the very few sites where its users actually practice the English language! How many times do I have to read web posts from those who don't understand the difference between the possessive "your" and the contraction "you are?" This site seems to have successfully attracted a better educated community and that is incredibly rare on the net these days.

Lastly, I have had personal experiences involving black men and white women together (I'm being deliberately cryptic to avoid making any of the ladies uncomfortable) and I think it is incredibly beautiful. I appreciate the opportunity to discuss issues related to black men/white women with an understanding and actively practicing community.

i actually invited a friend from another forum, he declined and id have to assume the reason is that hes white

 

I am not a friend of making differences between blacks and whites . So, I don´t care, whether you are now black or white.

Honestly, I don't understand it and like Frederick said this isn't really a sex forum and it's definitely not a cuckold forum and if it ever became that I'd leave without a doubt. This is the only forum like this that I've come across that isn't all about cuckolds and fetishism and that's why I love it. It's just a group of white women and black men with a mutual fondness (not obsession) for each other discussing our relationships, lives etc...

I get that some people are "curious" or whatever but I don't get why someone who isn't a black man or white woman would use this forum. I have absolutely no desire to visit a black women/white men, asian women/black men, black men/black men, asian men/white women forum or whatever. I really don't get it but to each their own I guess.
