Thanks for the post about my question

Thanks for the post regarding my question.

I also asked a few close friends the same question after posting, one of my friends a bm stated he thought it was because of my hobbies and my personality. I guess it makes since you don't find alot of WW that hunt, fish, and listen to almost only country music that date black guys.

The other friend also a BM said almost the same thing but added that you can tell by looking at white girls the ones that dates out of their race.

Myself, I think it sounds like they are stereotying but I guess to a point everyone does.

One friend added that I need to look at my myspace & facebook pages, on my friends list it is mostly white people. He's right I am friends with alot more white people and I have daded more WM, but really I'm more attracted to BM. When I'm dating a BM it's hard for me to keep my hands off him, I'm turned on SO much more.

Anyway,I have a date tomorrow with a BM that I have been looking forward to seeing for a while now, & I know I can't shave my legs or wear pretty panties because he's still a few dates away from a homerun.

I somehow gave off that vibe cause BM knew that I was attracted to them. My mother even noticed. Recently, I don't know what vibe I give off cause they're not getting my signals...lol In regards to the topic, I usually get asked why do I date BM or what is it about BM I like.

I think part of it may come down to the comfort factor. I've been told many times I give off "the vibe", but it's not something I consciously do. Being that I'm in a relationship I don't flirt with guys (other than my love, of course) yet, for example, this black guy I was working with last night said "Your boyfriend is black, isn't he?". When I asked how he knew he said he just "got the feeling".

I think in some instances it could be due to the fact that white chicks, especially those with little to no racial diversity in their social groups, often act a little to a lot nervous around black men they don't know, whereas a woman with a history of dating black men would likely not have that subconscious nervousness bubbling forth.

While in my previous relationship I met a very nice young black man on the bus, and since we ended up getting off at the same stop and were heading in the same direction (he worked at an office beside my school) we walked together. He said he'd gotten the same vibe from me, though he couldn't put his finger on what it was that tipped him off. I think it was the fact that I was comfortable talking to him, and didn't instantly make any assumptions when it turned out we had the same bus stop.

I also notice white chicks on the bus (and walking around) giving black guys a larger berth than other races of men. Pretty sure that's a big sign they're not interested. I only give people a wide berth when they seem shady, or they smell. Colour doesn't factor into it. I treat people based on my own intuition, which seems fairly adept at warding me away from the crazies and scary people.

Not that a man has ever asked me that but in the context:
What I have noticed is that I get WAY more appreciative looks etc from bm than from wm.
For the longest time, I was wondering what it was with my looks that seemed more appreciated by bm than wm... but now I dont think its that at all..
I simply think that bm are better at showing appreciation than wm that to me seem to be more.. complacent with women (or more passive than bm in general when it comes to women????).

This is clearly a generalization, something I dislike to do.
I just find it interresting though.....

I`ve never asked that question. But if I did and the answer was yes I would then assume that she is comfortable around BM.

Very funny. :):) But seriously, if she has dated other BM she may have met guys who don`t fit those stereotypes. So if she still dates BM it probably means she is looking for the person inside and not the person outside.

I've never asked that question and I probably never would ask. However, sometimes I can easily guess or infer that the woman has dated BMs. Or at least I can tell that they want to.

    Why I ask

I usually ask because I wonder if this is just a phase or just experminitation. I was the first and only black experiences for a few of my exes. I was a walk on the wild side for a lot of them without going over the edge. I wad "Theo Huxable" edgy lol. So some guys may ask to see where they stand ya know.

i've been asked by a few men, never really understood why it was an important thing to know. don't believe i've ever asked a black man if he's ever dated a white woman before.

Because a guy might want to know its just a phase especially if he sees you as more than just a bed buddy
