Yesterday I had dinner with a guy from Brasil, afterwards I was at a Jazz Concert with some one from Washington DC. The music was great they call it minimalistic Jazz- and we had a very nice and interesting chat with them..Really very funny.:smt023

Thursday I am going to a fight...I am excited..

Got laid off from my job 2 days before Thanksgiving,
Have a job interview paying almost twice as much per hour this Thursday

Good luck to you.. you were going through a thirsty time, so I think you´ll be lucky this time!

 

Yes, I am in Switzerland..everyone is coming here once..a lot of tourists or foreign people are looking for a job here. But it also has another reason, why I meet so many of them right now. We (some people and I) are thinking of opening a hostel in Zürich..so I am living in different ones in whole Switzerland (Zürich,Geneve,Basel,Bern,Lugano,Luzern,Chiasso...)for a few days/weeks to spy around and to prepare a businessplan...Very funny, really!!!


But yesterday it was also very strange..At the midday I met a guy at the main station accidentially, I haven´t seen since several years. His reaction was a little bit foreign, so I excused myself that I´ve mistaken him, but he said, no no I am Serge, let´s meet in the evening for some drinks. So I met him at the evening and it were some funny hours. Before I left, he looked in my eyes and said that he has to tell me something..he is not Serge.. his name is Raymond. I was feeling as in a dream..what the hell was going on!..Then he explained that he said that he is Serge, because he feared that I´ll leave, if he tells me the truth..I needed some time to get back to reality, I was talking to him about many private stuff and business..And it was embarrassing, but later it was ok..he told me the truth, before I came behind....On the other hand I have to say, he is a smart guy..

 

Definitely best of luck mate, but remember, regardless of recession, you are interviewing them on their suitability to you as an employer, just as much as they you as an employee. Show them your self-respect and ask them questions (specific to your industry/profession) about their operations. The worst companies to go work for are the ones who want unthinking sheep for a workforce.

 

rough week this week, 2 friends have lost thier children, another had her baby prematurly and my older sister has decided she wants nothing more to do with me or her neice because i failed to answer my phone in thursday.

 

In the last 24 hours, three people have told me - without any of them talking to the others - that I've lost weight.

This has been so, SO long coming, I am feeling quite emotional.

 

So sorry to hear this robina, I hope it looks up for you soon. And my condolences to your friends.

 

Hey BroLove. Hope you have a job in the government and things work fine for you.

 

Today I visited an ex-cabaret..my only thought was One..


Follow me now..a big Dancing Club with antique furnitures, red carpet and a very large stairways.. a podium..I was thinking of inviting somebody around 11pm, to turn on the music and and the special light.. (this club is closed at the moment..they are going to change it into a live-music club)..I prepare a nice dinner and we are dancing, single ,alone in that club..


I took the keys..you never know..

What a horrible week indeed Rob...!!! I'm so sorry. I couldn't imagine the grief that your friends must be going through at the moment, I'm not sure that I would actually keep living if I ever lost my children...!!! I had a friend who had her baby prematurly 3 months ago and saw her yesterday...she's up to 4 kilos now & doing wonderfully, so I'm sure your friends baby will be just fine...!!!
And what can you say about family...??? Give her space and hopefully she'll see the error of her ways. You know what they say...you can choose your friends....
