This is all so inspiring to read, great work everyone!

I have decided to do the local triathlon next year (Dec 2010) so will be training for it over the next year. You may think that 12 months might be too long to train for one event but I believe even the swim is uphill lol. It will be a lot of fun and a great way to see more of this old volcano!

    :)

I'm not really aiming to lose weight but I do enjoy doing Pilates and I go jogging 3 times a week to keep in shape - I am pretty happy with my fitness as it is at the moment :)

My other half is big into weight training, has been for the last 20 years, he looks good, but he's always wanting to improve

Weight training is like crack. I'm always looking at different ways to do it, and I bet ur beloved is the same. As for improving, that's a given......as long as it's legal.

Yes, he is always looking at ways to improve his muscle tone and size.. and without the naughty substitutes ;)

My ex used to take steroids, it made him angry and reduced the size of his manhood, no fun for me I can assure you! :-o Also the muscle was just bulk rather than defined, if that makes sense?!

It makes perfect sense. Having your muscles built up by steriods is like blowing them up as balloons, like there is nothing IN them... There is no structure to them.
But if you are building muscles the regular way by time and hard work,
    they are defined....

My ex was a varsity football player (Canadian football, not soccer) and never used roids. He managed to be 260lbs of huge ripped muscles with heaps of hard work and dedication with the added bonus of no manhood size reduction. lol

Ha ha yes that helps doesn't it - real muscle far outweighs the 'roids!

I just got a hair up my butt today and got a personal trainer.

I somehow went to 25% bodyfat in the last 3 years which is horrifying to me.
I dont want to get back to the 9-13% I was before but a happy medium - which I dont know what it is yet as I want to keep my feminine figure but be fitter. I really want to keep my rack, I love my girls but fact is they will .. uh, shrink if I do this, damn it! But hey.

I dont have a goal of a weight, I dont give a rats ass about that as I dont want to lose weight but just decrease the bodyfat %.
Experience tells me that I will stay about the same weight, just less bodyfat if Im dilligent.

The trainers "calculations" say 5 months to get to 16% bodyfat, but I suspect that might be to litte bodyfat if I want to keep the oobs somewhat intact. Ill shoot for 20% for now and see how I like that.

I eat extremely healthy and stick mostly to low glycemic index foods so that should be fine, I will need to increase my caloric intake and that will be an issue with my work/travel schedule

I am now 114lb (5'4") and 25% bodyfat - and I am going to use y'all as a part of getting accountability.

    Thoughst and ideas?

FG have you seen the Crossfit video? I just saw this recently. I was totally impressed til they lifted the huge weight above their head. Scary. :p I'm not that strong in my arms. I would be afraid of dropping that on myself.

You have a great body but I know sometimes I kind of slack and need the push to work harder.
