I am all for freedom of speech but there has to be a line drawn somewhere. http://www.dailycamera.com/broncos-nfl/ci_13565572 I can see the black NFL players buddying up to a man who has an openly disdain for black people as a whole.
Well like my southern brothas say, they'd rather be with a guy they knew was racist, than someone who hid it, only to cut you at the knees later on (no Favre crack-back block pun intended).
Why can't Rush Limbaugh purchase a chapter of the KKK or the Sons of Confederate Veterans? He shares their sentiments!
Bill O'Reilly has been spinning like crazy on the Limbaugh matter saying he is now racist. No Spin for other but Spin for his friends.
I'm all for this as long as the team remains in STL.. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2009/11/08/new-potential-buyer-emerges-for-the-rams/
to me, the thing is this.. racist leadership has been outed before in the past, that were involved in one way or another with a pro team. Let's face it..racism against blacks was the cool thing in the old days, which is when those teams were acquired. While Rush's views are an open book, for the world to see, no one seems to be worried about the closet bigots, that only have black personnel around, to stay competitive.
exactly. Rush is from Southeast MO, and he represented (as for now) the best chance for the Rams to remain in town. I wouldn't have had a problem with a Checketts/Rush ownership group.
