Just because I'm nosy (and bored), what exactly are you looking for?

    A Booty Call? ;)

    Just Kidding...

This is why my black ass is getting critisized now!

    But Seriously,

I'd like to be with a decent woman, who shares the same relationship values as me. Someone like yourself, but within a reasonable driving distance.

Totally agree with FG and Bookie on this. The innuendos would turn me away from the profile right away. But adding what you are looking for would be good! :)

    Nouharel,

What happened to the other avatar?

    I liked it!

    Americans Prude???

We invented Kink, and the magazines that show it! :)

With fine upstanding American born citizens like Hugh Heffner, and Larry Flint, who made millions from it.

Keep ur profile the way it is, or the way u like it.
Not everyone is going to like ur profile, but people who have ur humor will answer it. I mean u want a woman who likes u, and not a woman who likes bookie....

Thanks Nouharel, being Canadian I know you weren't referring to me. lol

I do believe that Rinnaye was asking for our opinions which we've supplied. And you are correct, if he keeps his profile status quo, the woman that responds well to that will be in contact with him and he'll have no worries. :)

I never once told him to change his profile to my specifications. I gave him my opinion on what he posted. That's it and that's all.

Umm, last I checked, you're in the continent of North America, so by default, this includes you Canadians too.

    Sorry Boo! :)

ups.. I did not wanted to offend u.

It was that he started to think that he has to change things because u and others did not like his profile.
It was not about u that u don´t like it, but more about him wanting to change it.

    U cannot be everybodys darling

Sorry for picking ur name, there where also others not liking it.

Meh, I don't put much stock in what a stranger writes about me on a forum. But if I come across as a prude well that means more freakiness for my man as I've saved it all for him where it belongs! :D

Not that this was ever meant to be a thread for how R's profile should look... but hey - I guess we care (or are nosy or both).

Nouharel has a point - depending on what R is looking for, flings, sure it will work great- if he is acctually looking for a real possibillity for a relationship- adding some vital information about who he is and what he is looking for will most definitively increase the chances of finding that.
    That is just common sense...

But I do believe he should leave what he already have as it shows his wit. Just add some stuff... I did spend a few years trying the internet dating thing and read tools on how to write a profile the best way - in the end I took what I thought were good ideas and did my own thing anyway.
R has proven to be a smart man, Im sure he will do his own thing and not just blindly go change the profile to something that didnt reflect him.

When I was on match.com - I never, ever bothered with men with a short non descriptive profile, I felt I didn not have time to figure out who he was or if he was serious - if he didnt give me something to go with in regards of likes etc. neither did I bother w somebody that was all facts either(booooooorrrring) - if R added info, his profile would stand out - because what he wrote was really funny, imo.

Of course a handsome man as R may not even need a profile, the pic might be enuff - Im sure he gets a gazillion answers... If I wasnt taken, I would send him a note STAT!:)

It's all just a slight misunderstanding.

Now ya'll shake hands, because there will be no repeat of 1943. America, and Germany are allies today, and we won't be having any wars on my thread. :D

actualy I know nothing about Canadians.... I can say many things about US-Americans, Mexicans, Türkish, Polish, French, German, Indian and many more......
It is like the US is taking so much place in the minds of the world, that Canadians don´t get their own prejudice from other nations....
That is making me realy curios now.... what type of prejudice are there about Canadians??

I never take the profiles to serious.
I rather like someone who is writing short, then someone who will do a lot talking and then not keeping it.
The profile is a little quickstart to get to know each other, but the reallife check is something diffrent.
I write funny things and not so much about myself. That I can do when I get to know the guy better.

    Here's what's wrong with Canada,

It's too clean up there. Hardly, if any graffitti. The economy isn't in a complete shambles, and the housing market, and healthcare seems to be fairing well.

That's a few of the reasons why Canada isn't on the hearts, and minds of the world like America is. We Americans are going down, kicking, hollaring, and screaming, and we want everybody to know about it.

That is true too... Although I always liked to see what a guy looked for in a woman... or a little of his interrest - that way, I could exclude myself if I was a completely wrong fit.. I would hate to go on a date and find Im with a complete doorknob (Im sure he would feel the same way:)

Of course, the dates I did go on, usually was initiated after a few phone calls but you cant do that for very long either - I also found out that chemistry you might have over the phone can be completely lost once you meet - weirdest thing.

Ok but americans have fast food and spare rips( how do I write that?? lol) Chickenwings, Coke, Spring Break and so on.....
What is a national food in Canada??? I mean, when u have an American Diners here in Germany, u know u get US food and u know what it is.
What would a Canadian Diners or restaurant serve???

    Yep
Chemestry on the profile, is diffrent from a chemestry in the chat, and then there is the phone... and then the real date.......
LOL it is so hard for the guys lol

We have the same American fast food places here (KFC, McDonald's, etc). Canada makes some great maple syrup, salmon is AWESOME here, and poutine of course. Then again all of those things are available in the US too. Hmmm I guess we aren't as unique as we like to think lol. Well really we do have nasty winters up here. In the most northern parts of Canada the winter nights last 24 hours per day! Which makes for a great excuse to stay in bed lol.

Our economy is in ok shape, we have universal (note: NOT socialist) health care, and some very friendly people. I love Canada! :smt049:smt054
