I once met a decent girl in one of the last places I would've expected. I still see her from time-to-time and she's always really nice and fun to hang with. Last time I saw her, I didn't even pay that much money. Who would've thought the gentleman's club would be such a great place for meeting decent girls??

I would say in church or church related events if one is believer. If one is a secularist, i am not sure whre one would find a decent girl and by what yard stick one would measure a decent girl in the worldly sense.

 

Greco there's heaps of places to meet decent humans that don't include religion. Consider your interests. Are you into a certain sport or hobby such as hiking, surfing, diving, football, etc.? Join a club with like minded individuals.

Community leagues, volunteer somewhere, etc.. In school if you are attending, there's loads of clubs where one can meet people. The bars are fine, as you've read, but if your intention is to have intelligent convo and maybe take it further, perhaps a venue without alcohol would provide better results

I met my former husband on a football field (me-trainer, him-coach). Seriously the opportunities are endless to meet people. I would be more receptive to chatting with a man while doing something I love like a group mountain bike ride or dive event (e.g. underwater pumpkin carving contest a couple years ago - what a hoot and I met several great people).

 

Just because a person is church-going doesn't automatically make them a decent person. Nor does it mean a person who is not church-going is a bad person. You have to judge the person as an individual.

This is great advice. Meeting someone whilst doing something you love to do provides a relaxed venue to meet people. :smt023
