Maybe it never occurred to them until you started having relationships with Black Guys. Or maybe they were completely against until they found out your preference. And maybe asked wierd questions lol. hell maybe you even set people up. I think you understand what I mean. Anyways your
    thoughts/opinions woud be great.:)

No. Most of my family members don't live near any black people, and considering the waves it made in my family when they found out about my ex boyfriend, I don't see my dating patterns affecting anyone else I'm related to. My friends...if they don't date outside of their race it's generally because they're not going to, and I don't force my preferences on others.

:smt017It's unfortunate that this thread hasn't had much feedback. It's really an excellent question.

    I'm very 'Intrigued' as well.

:cool:I really appreciate that family. I'm glad you got something out of my input, whether it was raunchy or 'real'.

I'm glad you decided to become a member. I browsed for a couple of years myself, before I actually joined.

    Welcome to the family.

    Now can y'all answer Raul's question damnit?!!!:smt112

    Dear Raul,
I try to make my friends fall for black men all the time!

The good thing about having a friend that likes black guys is that you can go hunting with her, especially at the club! ;)

The bad thing is that you could like the same guy.

BTW, none of my friends liek black men. They don't like big lips, the flat nose and all this bla bla bullshit. Well... more for me I guess ;)

Raul, I don't know if I have influenced my friends... Yes I did date bm before the rest of my female family members (as far as I know), but I don't think that had any bearing on their current choices.

And you shouldn't force anyone...but it is kind of cool if things like that happen.

The opposite of the question for me..if I influenced anyone to get with white women. Probably not. I just think the men in my family do what they want. My cousin is married to an italian american. My other younger high school age cousin dates asians, whites, black, etc. currently with an asian girl. I date anyone who i have a connection/attraction to and it tends to be white women time most of the time. No in my family really influenced anyone, just went with the flow.

long long time ago when lippy was in high school...college..most of my girlfriends dated bm...we congregated together...safety in numbers if you will...i grew up in montana...in high school there were only, i want to say 5 black guys in our whole city...we had 3 high schools...as we got older we watched and waited for the farm team mustang baseball plays to arrive...then the rocky football players and the emc bb players...these were unfortunately seasonal relationships as they always went home for the summer...i dated a rocky football player 20 years ago and we still keep in touch...he is a police officer in chicago...when i was younger and like thicky said on the hunt then it's always nice to have a gf along...now i do my own research and development...no need for a team:smt049

Yes, but i dont force it. Anybody that knows me, knows what type of men i like.Ive had a couple gf's that i work with flat out ask me if i could help them meet some black men. Had some ask me in indirect ways, but they did not fool me,lol. Lets just say i gave them the exposure they asked for.

:cool:I'm curious what became of this....? Were they 'closet BM-lovers'? Was it completely new to them? An experiment or legit preference?

Well, what I can tell you, one has been dating the guy i introduced to her for a few months now. Another has been seeing a guy off and on for a while. Another one just had a bad experience with a guy, and another one is playing the field with a few guys.

To answer your question,I'd say they were all curious about being with a black guy, as well as being in the closet as liking them. It was a new experience to them all. They don't need my help anymore on how or where to meet black men anymore.

;)Ok, I always find it interesting if there's a unspoken club of WW who prefer BM...like a secret code, LOL!

I guess it only takes one to show the rest the light!

I haven't been on the board for awhile (Hi, Everyone!), but I'll jump back in with both feet like I always do :)

I think that because I live in a US state that is 97% white, I can't help but "influence" my friends to at least open their minds, plus they see how my husband treats me like gold, and (most of) their little (white) boys treat them poorly.

My husband is especially awesome, though:cool:
