This is my Mixtape I have been working on, hope you all enjoy, you are the first people Im showing this to, I just uploaded it and finished it today(friday). Check it out... Also first time ya'll will hear me(lol) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5eSdnhSTeXQ
That is good one kenny I wonder if americans would buy and drive a car like this, one fella said my computer costs more than that shitty car sort of LOL it's valued under $2000 holy macroni... [hdyt]3sZitve3SUw&hl[/hdyt]
Prett good mixtape. I was feelin' it, lyrically. Wasn't feelin' the flow. Needs to be tightened up, but I still liked it.
I know, its a ghetto studio I set up in my house  Cost me about $230 all I could afford to set it up, but thats what I got to run on, for a while until I save up enough money to buy studio time. But thanks anyway.
all jokes aside, i think it takes courage to post stuff up on youtube, knowing people are going to see and critique it. if that's something that you like to do, keep going at it. you may get lucky.
Well me I have been rapping and doing peotry for years, so I have recieve good, great, bad, and OUCH!! criticism over the years, I started writing poetry when I was eight, started rapping around nine so 17, 18 years I have been doing it. Im pretty much up on how things go and dont go. Thats why I gotta 9 to 5 I aint stupid, I treat it more like a hobby with hope of going big, but I keep it real just like in my lyrics, I know how things go.
 Thanks for the help out, but Im not a contest dude, Im just going to keep doing me indepedently and choose my time right and carefully, got to be smart about things, you because there are sharks out there. I have been talking to some local DJ here about getting on his mixtape and I will be dropping some verses on upcoming remixes, mixed by me and my homey, that I will put on the internet soon, Im a hustler Im stay in that mode, I'll leave the contests alone.
well ...there is always myspace, facebook and twitter to promote yourself while perfecting what you do. Just A thought. :smt051
Yeah Im beginning to do that, Like I said I was able to build a little ghetto studio(LOL) in my room for cheap. So Im doing my thing, I would be in real studio this winter hopefully when I get on this mixtape for a local DJ.
dont knock the hustle kid... everyone gotta start somewhere... remember Em pushin his own weight (in this case, cds and mixtapes), in the back of his car? if you think you're good, that's what counts. Follow through and push it out there. I used to be classmates with Cassidy, back in high school (he's a philly cat, after all). Lived in the same area. Difference is, he had a dream and used to battle people and believed in what he did. Now you have youtube, which makes getting yourself noticed that much easier.
For real. I make my beats using shitty stock speakers that distort when you have it on half volume, but it's something. Shit equipment is better than no equipment. Oh, wha? You were classmates with Cassidy? That's cool.
you never know, young blood.. like i said, with the age of youtube, free publicity is out there.. remember that 'chocolate rain' cat? sure his 15 minutes of fame were short, but that's because the cat wasn't a hungry writer, like some of these guys on the block, trying to get something goin. if they let shit like soulja boy pop off, they open for anything
Yeah, the chocolate Rain dude was huge. And the thing is, sme of the 15 minute fame dudes have no intention of getting famous. Their vid just happen to blow the hell up. I see HELLA talented bedroom producers makin' tracks on there that would make Warren G wanna go back to strictly G-funk. Dude's be monsters on the keyboards.
yeah that's the ill-shit, son... one minute, you bangin a milli views... next minute, u on OPRAH on some lyrical genius steez :smt115
