Not going to happen! The majority of every race will marry amongst their own. Somewhere around 90% of all white women marry white men, so no to your dream sweetie. Besides, if what you want to happen truly happened, then that'll be a sad day, because a 100 years from now, bruhs like me won't have beautiful light eyed blondes, and brunettes to go for. Everyone would be the same colored brown, and beautiful photos like the ones posted earlier would be not possible in that "majority black" utopian world you envision.
No, science and money will ensure this is not the case. Posted this before, due to the final mapping of the human genome accomplished a few years ago, designer babies when it comes to skin, eye, and hair color, are a very imminent reality. I'm not completely sure which way you're leaning, but I THINK we agree. Yes, I do understand this branch of science practiced is imminent, but still, do you think it'll cause everyone to eventually have the same physical attributes, and features? If you say yes, then you are also implying that the majority of individuals within their respective races are at least not wishing to preserve their familial appearance racially. Which is a stretch. Wouldn't you say? This new science may lead to more symmetrically refined looking individuals, but not so much differently appearanced racially. And The fact remains, you will always have whites who want to keep it white, blacks who'll want to keep it black, Asians, etc, etc.
We'll see If 90% of white women today marry white, consider the fact that 100 years ago it was something like 99.9%. That's because white people were far more racist back then. As the non-white population increases, the opportunity for white women to date outside their race will increase as well and we'll see the 90% figure go down to 80% in the next generation, and then 70% in the one after that, etc. I think it's a good thing that the US is becoming more multiracial. 50 years ago, the USA was 90% white, now it's something like 65%. Whites will not completely disappear (I said that with a little bit of tongue in cheek) but the days of white privilege and white majority are definitely coming to an end. Do you have any scientific data to back up your claims that white women will increasingly look to date/marry out of their race, at the percentage you suggest? You sound like you're suffering from a heavy dose of "white guilt". Why do you look forward to your race's demise? White Western Civilization is mainly the reason we're all here, and able to live the quality standard of life we're living now in a first world status. Isn't that value enough to care to assure your race's preservation along with everyone elses? But yes, I do agree that white privilege should be done away with. It should be equality for all.
I think what the article is pointing out is that the science will lead to being able to manipulate the genetic code to the point where regardless of ethnicity, parents will be able to 'design" their offspring, including skin color. So in theory, a "white" couple will be able to have a "black" baby if they so choose and vice versa. Skin color, eye color, hair color ect. will simply be a matter of choice for the parents. Some will always choose to pass on their own skin tone, some will not. Certainly has "Gattica-like" implications for the future. The point I am making is that even with more IR marriages/couplings, in the future there will always be a diversity of skin, eye, hair color, due to these scientific advances.
