Went to a bbq my family had...it was nice.
Going into work tomorrow on a new shift, it fucking sucks

I finished installing my first 5sp. transmission in my car today(18 hours invested into the rebuild). I'm waiting on new front drive axles coming in the next two days, can't wait to drive:smt077. Since the gearbox was removed, i'm replacing the exhaust system from the cat back with side-exhaust instead of having to exhaust tubing going over the rear-axle for now.

Today, we introduced guitar effects into our set. Much roomier sound, rehearsal was intense today.:smt109

 

Well, I have been fasting because it is Ramadan. I enjoy the holy month, it is like a compass swing for me. Making sure I am pointed in the right direction.

LA, this wasn't the case. GZ and I strictly have a business deal between us. I supply him with chicken, and he supplies me with 'Sprite.' There's no love interaction.

anyway been feeling tired a lot and lazy i dont wanna do nothing and seems nothing changed with me this days, but i hope i dont need to buy my son a new bike...
on monday he went to school and when he came back i asked him what took you too long and my son said well i was walking slow.. then i thought and told him didnt you took the bike with you in the morning then he remember he left his bike at school ...he forgot he took it in the morning and walked home ...i hope today when he goes to school will be still there... there are time he walks there and other time get his bike but he was too busy playing with the phone so he forgot

Think I may have found a temporary solution to my immediate problem, to buy myself a little more time to find a real job...especially considering I'm 90 percent sure the interview I had wasn't for a real, non-scam job. I'll find out if my decision will help tomorrow.

Gotta write a huge paper tonight. 5-7 pages, and I've done 0 research...I'm a bad student sometimes It's due tomorrow, so I better get cracking.

Moral dilemma: Gotta write the paper, but I've got two free passes to see an advance screening of 9 tonight...I wanna go soooo bad. If I can get my research done before we need to leave, then I'll go...writing the paper won't take me more than an hour or two. The research is the time consuming part. I could severely use some relaxing, I hope I get done enough in time to go see it with my baby. I think we could both use the escape.

eh finally getting around to applying for a new job. Also gearing up for classes this semster.

 

Well, my paper was finished on time, though not as great as I'd wanted, so I went to the movie opening for 9. We didn't get in, though. It made us both sad, as the movie seems really awesome, and is produced by one of my favorite filmmakers (Tim Burton). But ah well. We'll see it eventually, but it would've been nice to get to see it for free, especially since I found out at the theater that my own school was the one sponsoring the free, advanced showing the night before it's official release.

My decision for a temporary solution into my current problems was a good one, insofar that it gives me 3-4 more months of not worrying where I'll be laying my head at night, and thus a little less stress. The bad side of it is that once that time period is up I'll be stuck again, possibly worse. But right now I'm just trying to breathe easy, look for a job, and hope like hell it all works out. I'm officially a junior in 3 weeks, and I'll be crushed if it all goes south and I have to quit school in the first quarter of 2010. But we'll see.

I have new paintings and work which will be up for sale soon, if anyone is interested please let me know. I'm thinking of setting up a permanent website to help me sell my work, or something, instead of working with craigslist since the latter isn't garnering any interest in my work anymore.

Still open for commissions, as well, both 2d, 3d, sculpture, and jewelry.

Oh, and I might post pictures of Nate's new hair soon. I gave him dreads, cause he couldn't exactly get hired easily with the fro-hawk, despite it's sexiness.

 

I would love to see your work DH, I've been on craigslist once when my gay friend was showing me the singles ads (loved it). Your own website would be a great idea, I would put it as a link on my FB page and everything! (then all 2 of my friends would see it as well)

Anyhoo, so I was prescribed Celexa, Lithium, Tegretol and Xanax. Then I saw my therapist on the 8th and we decided that I don't need Lithium or Tegretol and the doctor they have is stupid. So then today I went to the free clinic and they filled my Celexa for me but they wouldn't fill my Xanax prescription because it's a controlled substance so I have to get that filled somewhere else, like Wal-Mart for $15 or $20. That's it. I think my blood pressure has gone down a whole lot since I've been taking the medication they gave me for that. That's all really. I don't know anything more about the other stuff yet. Nothing really new to report.

 

lippy is in dallas right now...went to an art gallery last night for a showing of howard sherman...he is an artist out of houston...thought of DH and all her talent...i didn't really care for his work...very abstract...the one painting that everyone gravitated toward was a chalkboard work...loved it...it was priced in the thousands...

great sushi place for dinner to cap off the night...

DH...you can count me as one of the interested...lippy would like a piece for my living room...i am having my furniture recovered and painting the room...i am going to take some pics and see if you have any ideas...
