I agree that is sucks. Reminds me of this incident:

"When Disney discovered in 1989 that three Hallandale, Florida, day care centers had 5-foot-high likenesses of trademarked Disney characters such as Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and Goofy painted on their walls, Disney threatened to go to court if the centers did not remove the drawings. The threat of legal action did not need to be carried out, as the centers replaced the drawings with cartoon characters belonging to Universal Studios Florida and Hanna-Barbera Productions, who volunteered the use of their character art as part of a publicity ploy."

I really don't know how to feel about this. As long as Disney has a hands off approach to Marvel I guess it won't be too bad.

This should prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that this recession is very real. There's no way that this would ever happen otherwise.:smt009

WACK!!!! Disney better not move on to game developers anymore. I think they've already bought out a couple companies. Keep your hands off my game companies, fuckin' Disney.

Two companies I don't care for are now united. Here's hoping it goes bad for both of them.

I think it's a smart move on Disney's part to keep their sharholders happy. I think Disney won't change this cash-cow way of doing business. The price for new comics from marvel has just gone up now.

Since Warner Brothers owns DC Comics, Disney had to do likewise and acquire Marvel.

The only difference is, Disney has an "image" to maintain and that could compromise the Marvel brand.

WBs claim to fame was pushing the envelop, in competition with Disney, with their 'Looney Tunes' product. Remember all the violence, fighting, and overall pandemonium you'd see in Tom N Jerry, or a Wyle (sp) E Coyote cartoon? Disney is bleh.

Disney has a darkside, you dont see it just it's subliminal. Just wait and see what happens. Let just hope this doesn't happen at Disneyworld's golden gates

I have no worries Disney will change anything with Marvel content. How it is distributed is a different story. This was mainly a financial move. People forget Disney owns companies like ESPN, ABC, Miramax, and Touchstone and all cater to adult content.
