Hello all. I am seriously considering doing P90X...actually, I'm gonna do it. Anybody ever done it or know anyone who has completed it ? Thanks in advance.
I had not heard of it before either. This forum has before and after pics of people who are using it and they are pretty amazing. http://www.weightloss-hq.biz/weight-loss-forum/p90x-before-and-after-pics.html
We got it for $60, just didn't come with the books. It is a killer, no shit, it is hard work. But it is a workout anyone could really do. It is just realllly intense. I have no idea how any one could do it daily during the first week, it took me 2 days to recover from my first day 1. We don't use it anymore though, got lazy
Thanks for the info. I am really looking forward to doing it. I hear it's tough...a buddy of mine did it. When I get it, I'll let you know how I do with it. My boss and I are gonna do it. We ex-athletes need a challenge every now and then.
Go for it... and be sure to take before and during photos. A guy I know did the whole program and took 4 pics - before, during, after. You could really see the difference.
How do you become an 'ex-athlete?' I googled p90x also. Looks interesting, but if you take a good aerobics class, you can get much (not all) of the same exercises out of it. When I last took aerobics in college (easiest 1.5 credit elective ever), we did running, sculpting, kickboxing, a bunch of different ab workouts, etc. A good instructor gives you all of that, and you come away feeling much better about yourself.
What's good POJ ??? Ex-athlete merely meant that I used to play minor-league basbeball. I no longer attempt to compete at my highest level of competition. I still play golf and workout, but I don't compete as an athlete anymore. Thanks for the input on the aerobics. Peace.
