To be fair I don't think there is any data to support that. I believe that even most biracial folks in the U.S. have identified themselves as black and have actually dated/married other black people (or other bi-racial black folks). Now, it may be only a small majority (52 %, 55%, 60%) but I still feel that's how it has gone down. This GG chick that this thread was started for is one of those rare types who can COMPLETELY pass. Even if some look at her and say there's something "ethnic" about her, I would guess that most would never imagine that the ethnic part is black (though I hate even using the word black because its such a limiting adjective when it comes to race IMO). I'm going to guess that black folks of mixed blood who can pass for white have mostly paired themselves with white mates and blended into white communities.

can't say I watch Gossip Girl but I wish her the best.. if she ever shows up at the BET/Essence/Image award shows at least it'll be clear that she doesn't feel appearing at such events would be damaging to her career..

 

I think it is hypocritical to complain of a biracial woman dating white men on a site specifically for interracial relationships.

You know what, that is why I thought she was white in the first place,
because in an interview (I will try to post it on here today) she mentioned
that she was the only whitegirl in her school. So she could identify

You dont hear to much noise about them... Why because they
are in the world of girls that go for the zac efrons, robert pattisons, and Chase somethin(forgot his last name, but I think he is from Gossip Girl.)
And that is the world where she is from, black guys get very little play in
