Haven't really researched the name of his chick but from a pic posted by Andre Iguodala at Channings wedding, it looks like the bride is caucasian. http://twitpic.com/dxesp
Dude went to the University of Arizona. Almost of all those basketball players at the school go after and get that white tail. And from what I've been told the white coeds at that place are TOP SHELF (though I'm not sure if Frye's bride is an Arizona alum herself).
ah...the life of a big college baller even tho those guys aren't pros, their tail availability is astronomical.. imagine them cats at Duke...I know they gettin' it in
weren't you drafted by the nuggets? seriously tho....being an athlete in high school is one thing... being an athlete in college, with those young ass girls away from their parents, for the first time in their lives.... i couldn't imagine :smt045 yes siiiiir
Not the Nuggets, the Kings, I didn't last long, LOL, but it was fun while it lasted. Had an offer to go over to Germany, but my knee had other ideas. As I said, it was a fun four years... ah the memories.
Dude, first of all the cats at Duke probably don't want what Duke has to offer. They'd probably prefer to go to Chapel Hill and see the "sights" at their arch rival University of North Carolina instead. But regardless Duke is a terrible example. Although the basketball program is much beloved amongst the students, Duke is still a really serious school and the co-eds there, even the rare really pretty Duke co-eds, aren't just waiting to open their legs up to a bunch of athletes. If you are a baller and want the best chicks you'd be better off going to a large state school where there are more airheads, prertty cheerleader types, Playboy Bunny wannabes, and Girls Gone Wild participants. Over the years the state schools that have generated the most buzz, from what I can tell, are UNC, UCLA, both state schools of Arizona, Texas, Georgia, Florida, Oregon, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Michigan, LSU, University of Maryland, Virginia and Ohio State (I may be drawing a blank on a couple). And the majority of these schools have a slew of hot girls who will put out pretty quickly for the Big Men on campus (maybe not as much at Virginia and Michigan).
What's the matter? UCLA doesn't live up to the rep with the quality of ladies or is it the UCLA girls don't give it up as easily to the big athletes?
Yep, obviously there's no love lost. But if his experience with UCLA gives him a different picture than the one I painted I'm willing to at least consider his opposing view. I've made trips to a good number of campuses but never UCLA.
Any major university in a large metropolitan area with legions of women primarily between the ages of 18-22 doesn't have to live up to any "reputation", the results should be obvious from the demographics alone. And I attended UCLA as a student not an athlete, but have a handsome friend that ran track for the school and he didn't have women crawling all over him. I guess UCLA is one of the more "serious" schools? The point that I am making has more to do with creating a mythology around things with which you have no personal experience.
Fair enough. And UCLA, like UNC, Michigan and Texas, is a great school so I'm not trying to suggest its all orgies and parties. Nonetheless when I made a reference to ballers I was talking about the Big Two in college sports which are football and basketball. On so many campuses the athletes from those two sports are the ones who are the most recognizable and therefore are the closest things to celebs you can find (well, I suppose at schools like UCLA and USC one can find young, real life celebs taking courses as well).
basically everywhere I went to school, you could not draw popularity comparisons between football/basketball studs and guys who 'ran track.' So much more goes into those sports, both financially and socially. Penn State sells out the stadium for football games. I can't remember the last time I heard a track meet selling out there.
Not so fast my friend! With all due respect brother Jamal...you don't know what the hell you are talking about in regards to Duke women! I'm both an alumni (class of '87) and a former scholarship football player and I can confirm there were plenty of fine women there! There were also plenty of freaks too, but you just needed to know where to find them and how to talk to them. The library at Duke is the largest in the Southeast and THE place to meet girls. A lot of my boys from UNC, NCCU, and NC State would come to campus to meet women but struck out because they wouldn't listen to my advice. Be able to talk about more than yourself, sports, or some "hey baby" bullshit if you want to hook up w/a Duke girl. As a rule, smart girls don't want to deal w/dumb guys, so if you can't engage in meaningful, insightful conversation about anything other than Madden or who was on BET last night then you have ZERO chance. With that being said, we did hang out in Chapel Hill alot, primarily because Franklin Street is the nexus point for college kids in the Triangle.
