Which things are deal breakers for you within the first date or first few dates with a person? Either from previous experience or just in general.

No balance at all between talking and listening. I understand that during the 1st date the ice may have to break and in the case that he would either talk the entire time and not letting me say much or him not saying anything at all and wanting me to make conversation mainly I would meet him a few more times to see whether it was really just a "First date" and ice breaking issue or whether he is like that in general.

Numerous phone calls he either makes or accepts. If it's very important e.g. family or work I understand...but all his buddies calling to see how he is or even girls and not just once or twice may disturb me a little.

Bad manners.Well it's not too hard to say excuse me when u burp or let some air.Lol I don't like when there's no excuse me after. Or other bad manners but this is the main thing I've experienced so far.Lol

When he has expectations of what should happen and may get pissed if I don't fullfil those. Not every 1st date has to end up in the sheets but I have experienced men expecting that to happen and getting mad when it didn't

Those would be the main 4 for me I think.I may add more later :)

Which things are deal breakers for you within the first date or first few dates with a person?

    1. Calling too much and reporting the mundane details of their life. I had gone out with one guy a couple years ago who would call me with his daily schedule. First I woke up, showered, made breakfast, I brought to wrong sort of OJ and had to throw it ot cuz the pulp made me GAG. Who the fuck CARES?????

    2. Bad kisser--I will try it a few times, but if the guy is drooling like a Saint Bernand and can't control his tongue movements FORGET IT.

    3. Calling me baby too soon

    4. Bad Manners

    5. Wanting to come over

Haha, I agree with everything you've mentioned Bosoxlady!

Bad manners are a massive, MASSIVE deal breaker for me. I don't expect a guy to pull out chairs and open doors for me but I do expect him to be able to use a knife and fork, have 'please' and 'thank you' in his dictionary and NOT BURP IN PUBLIC. That's something I don't even tolerate in friends, let alone dates. Maybe it's a Russian thing but I find it VERY offensive, lol.

If he doesn't offer to buy me a drink. I mean I'm an independant woman and all that and you know, I'm even up for doing rounds but if I'm on a 'date' with a guy and he doesn't offer to buy me a drink, I just assume that we're hanging out.

Holding my hand or trying to make out with me in public. First day dude, calm down.

Being too quiet. I know that sometimes people are just shy and nervous but the problem is, when he's shy and nervous, I get shy and nervous and nobody talks and it's just awkward for everyone.

And yeah, wanting to come over or assuming I'll go over to his. I don't roll like that guys. I got me some dignity lol

I agree with all of you! :) Accepting phone calls on a date as you'd mentioned BY86, is just rude. Turn off the phone for an hour or two, you'll be glad yah did it! lol

I had one time a date with a guy who I had nearly perfect chemestry on the phone and in the chat.
We was talking for hours and hours.
When I meet him the first time, I told him to take a shower and left. I don´t know if that was rude from me, but I think, when u go on a date...... well please don´t stink!!
We still chat but I lost all intrest in seeing him again.

    Other dealbreakers?
Well when I don´t understand the words coming out of ur mouth......I like to understand the people I am talking with, and I don´t want to ask every second word what was said.

I don´t like the clothes in the rap-style/ HipHop ( or what ever I consider that is, because that is not my world. I like nromaly dressed men who dress thier age, I just don´t need a forty year old guy who tries to act like his early twenties)

I am absoltly not intrested to know on the first date, how well u are built, and that ur preference is eating the pink Kitty.

    Andy many others......
in short I can say, when there is no chemestry, forget it!!

Yep expecting sex or bringing it up right on the first date is definitely a turn off.
And I don't even like when 20 year old guys walk around like thugs. It's not my taste.

Lol true... some people think by 40 men should be out of the thug phase.I just am not into thugs in general. Regardless or their age

Some guys unfortunately do not act like gentlemen and expect chivalry is dead. Even if a woman rejects me on a date at least I will act decent towards her. Besides, those men must had dated women with low self esteem to accept those actions without question.

I am going to try to give you some rep for that.... I hope I can.hehe. More power to you. I don't want gentlemen to die out

I do my best to be a gentleman since being a bad boy with manners is just not good.

  16. I hate men that boast about money and success and such. It makes me feel embarrassed for them. I like a good, old fashioned gentleman. Though as mentioned, they are a rarity.

Define the 'old fashioned gentlemen', opening doors for women is a common trait in every man. I won't throw my cloak on the ground for you to walk on.:smt003
