    As a poet/rapper I resent that

    But Real Talk though,
Im sorry this is where I don't disagree with you, just point out inaccuracy of that statement, they actually(NOT ALL BTW.) get into the most trouble my man, thats why alot of them be in jail alot, even though I defend rap alot that is one of the things thats hard to defend, because it's so sadly fucking true... Actors and Athletes get away with quite a bit.
Rappers will get away with saying the most shit, but so will the media,
so where do you go with that, two wrongs there.

Celebs in general get away with too much.

When I say "get away with stuff"...I mean it in the sense that rockers wild ways hurts them for a couple of seconds and then they are back...or it's a fairly neutral effect...and usually we don't know half of what they are doing. We know when a rapper does anything wrong but it rarely hurts them and in fact it often helps them.

Oh i agree, they get sent to jail far more but their record sales usually go up as well...quite the positive correlation. Actors and athletes are more inclined to get slapped on the wrists but they are never quite viewed the same...best case scenario is that nothing changes...but a rapper does time and goes platinum. (Of course that has more to do with the image rappers want to present versus athletes or actors)

Thats another part I hate, unless they come out of those situations
bettering themselves, I could live without that, I won't be that kind of
rapper once I make that transition and could careless if I don't sell a mill,
Like I said in a overall statement about this post, dignity will and should always be worth more than money and fame. To quote lil wayne
"Im richer than all ya'll, I got a bank full of PRIDE!"
