His name is Maury Willis who played for the LA Dodgers. He wrote a book on his exploits. Doris Day denied it but her actions speak for itself. A new biography on Day mentioned her relationship with Willis.

I just came across this website, and (as a black woman) I think that this is as interesting as it is racial.
I am 32 years old and have dated my share of both black and white men. I have found the beauty in both of em (and I praise the lord to do so). This Lord Toph who is with whoever this girl is (obviously a celebrity) and now yall want to hate on em, just because he has got straight hair and is with a white chick! Yall all better get it together! Its 2008, and we (epspecially black people) should be past all this! The man is a sexy man, black or white!!
