Thanks darlin. I don't know what all I have to do to get an A, but the upside is that he's willing to discuss it with me on an individual basis and then I can resubmit the wine piece for a better grade. Most of the problems he pointed out in class are easy fixes. Simple stuff like lighting and position. He wants the glass to overlap the wine bottle, wants the shadows lighter, etc. So hopefully I can get that damn A once I tweak it some more.

My Po-em Writing Attempt

Coveting your embrace to bestow eudemonia, [yoo-di-moh-nee-uh]
While your absence stays bane to my empyrean. [em-puh-ree-uh]
My heaven's gift to me, you're the love of my dreams,
And your presence exceeds the greatest blessing.
Enchained in these pangs fathomed by none,
My soul cries akin to a mourning dove.
You're my saving grace in this hardknock spectrum,
And my solemn wish is to be that which is,
Your sanctum amid all the hardships herein.

So...I wrote this po-em for my man (the hypen is an inside joke between me and my man because I pronounce poem with two syllables, so that's how we write it ). If you read it right and stress the right syllables, it rhymes and reads well (to me). Good enough. I believe he will like it :smt080

I wish I drew that. I only coloured it. Some awesome Italian comic artist did the line work. But those are all my colours, at least.

THAT is awesome!" type comments! (one by the waitress and one by a passing person). They REALLY liked it - and so do I!!!

The pencils for my drawing for my recently lost friend, Beth. The character on the right is mine, the one on the left is hers. Both are superhero types. All that junk around Beth's character is water, because her character could manipulate water and stuff.

Doing the colours right now, but it's a bit difficult cause I keep getting choked up. I'll post them whenever I finally finish it.
