What makes you happy?

With all the arguing and tension on other threads i thought i would lighten it up a bit, what makes you happy?
It could be people in your life, something you like to do, whatever.

For me it would have to be my two beautiful children.

Baby's laughter.

My daughter's laughter, especially when I make her laugh and she calls me a "silly old lady". LOL.

Being out in nature, or at a museum, or at a movie.

Standing on top of a freshly scaled Peak or Bowl, around 8 or 9 a.m., just as the sun is in full force. There is a brisk cold regardless of the sun. Shiny champagne powder crystals are blowing all over, off the trees, right onto my face and into the surrounding air. I'd say 8 to 10 inches dumped last night. Not a bad haul at all....

I check and tighten my gloves, and drop my goggles over my eyes. I start scanning either the tree line or the fall line for the best line to drop into and poach with no abandon. I'm standing on either my K2 Apache Recon 177s or on my K2 Legend 158 Board. My board is Kore. My ski's are Christina and Jennifer, left to right.

As I make my decision where to drop in, I take a look behind me to see other people heading off on their own missions. Poor peeps; they'll never understand the enjoyment of this quite as I do. I then take a look skyward, say Peace, smile, and drop in. Another ride. Another day of freedom. :smt020

Walking on top of a tall mountain. The air is so pure and the quietness is like nothing else in the world...that i've experienced so far.

Being at the beach...esp swimming in the sea. Love the feeling of floating in the water.

Watching Amelie (my favourite movie) - I have to save it up and not watch it too often so it doesn't lose the magic. Or maybe watching a Marx brothers film or something, they're so goofy.

Food which tastes great and has no fat - I found an amazing fat free frozen yoghurt at a Vietnamese eaterie - tastes like ice cream!!!
Alternatively, on a hot morning before work, getting a creamy iced coffee makes even getting on the London tube bearable...mmmm.

Saturday morning after I have finished a work out and a yoga class... very zen.

Speaking to my man before I go to sleep

Being at home all by myself.

Finishing a beat.

Going a whole 24 hours without getting a text from my friend asking to hang, and being able to stay in the house for the night without an annoying ass friend damn near begging me to hang.

An intense manga session.

An intense anime session.

Coming up on some money.

My dad.

Cruising around at night, with no destination.

Buying a rare cd.

 

Dogs. Especially little dogs, like pugs and corgis.

Going to football games, or watching them in a packed out pub in Manchester with everyone singing and chanting.

Kissing in the rain (but not getting sick afterwards).

Learning to cook something new.

Sleeping.

Dragging my boyfriend shopping.

Warm weather and drinking cocktails in nice, outdoor bars.

Shoe bargains.

Losing weight when you haven't been dieting.

Like LA said, a bit of extra money. It's nice not having to watch every penny!

Picking off dead skin when someone is sunburnt.

And yeah... lots of sex. Especially those times where you spend the whole night at it and not even realise until it's 8 hours later.
