I fell out of a chair and busted my chin when I was two. Stitches and all. The injuries I remember are: The first time I sprained my ankle, coming out of a toe touch in jr high. I've twisted it several times since. Yech! The worst was when I tore--yes, tore--my hamstring doing a split when I thought I was still warm but apparently was not. That hamstring still gives me problems from time to time and it was 15 years ago. And then there was the broken tailbone from giving birth to my first. That was almost eight years ago and it still gives me problems.
I shredded my rotator cuff. The surgery was tough...rehabbing the shoulder was a GRIND ! I have much respect for major league pitchers that get the surgery, rehab, and come back good as new !!!
When I was 13, I broke my ankle playing football when my younger brother and cousin. They put me in a full leg cast (don't ask me why lol). I missed the rest of the school year and I had to repeat 7th grade. I played a lot of video games when I was at home during the injury
All this, yet still manage to be so beautiful, smart, sexy, and highly desirable. You are truly favored by the Gods!
stomach ulcer which caused me acid reflux, caused me to lose weight, caused me to bloat, caused me to have palpitations.
Thanks for saying nice things. But yes truly favored, the part of the car I was in prior to getting thrown out the window was totally crushed so I would have been killed.
I fractured my left wrist in second grade on the last day of school when my my class went for a little "last day of school picnic". It really put a damper on the summer for me wearing a bag over my cast (plus I didn't get to finish with the festivities ) because I couldn't get it wet. It was a real pain in the ass going to the beach, swimming in pools, running through sprinklers, playing on slip n slides, etc.
So, were you wearing seatbelts? I often ask myself, is it safer to wear seatbelts, or not? They do seem to be a double edged sword, in that they may keep one from being fatally ejected from a vehicle, but they also will keep one firmly in place, while that massive semi comes barrelling right into the side of your door. Either Way, Not Good! Glad you're ok!
I got into a bad accident that could have been worse had I not been wearing my seatbelt (I didn't have a car that had an airbag). I escaped without injuries (unless you count whiplash). I'm all about wearing seatbelts. :smt023
I was in a car accident when I was 13, and I smashed my head into the dashboard, thus the scars on my forehead...
No not wearing a seatbelt but it's been a while ago. I always do now and would advocate doing that. Two people were ejected we were just lucky we landed off to the side of the road instead of the pavement.
I think one should wear a seatbelt, but one shouldn't be forced to do so. That said, I always wear mine
Co-sign. If you're in the front seat with me, you're wearing a seatbelt. Backseat, I don't care, unless you're my daughter.
The problem with people in the backseat not buckling up is that they become projectiles and take off yer head or at least mangle your neck and torso so badly on their way out the windshield that yah get to eat outta straw in yer stomach and poop into a bag right next to it. When I'm driving - everyone buckles up.
