i hear ya sister...women need to approach men like they do shoe shopping...try a few pair on...walk around a bit...see how they feel...how do they fit...do they flatter you...decide if these are just shoes that you wear with a certain dress...work shoes...play shoes...active shoes...seasonal shoes...or shoes that you see yourself in for a very long time...

wear the shoes that fit the situation...keep in mind situations can change on a dime...so always have several pair to choose from...

breaking up with a lover is like having to throw your favorite pair of shoes in the trash not because they are so last season but because you wore them the fuck out!

Not feeling threatened at all. Different men have different likes. Even if one likes Latinas or Asian women better it could still happen to him that a white woman sweeps him off his feet.

 

It's a stupid question in more ways than one... Let's not forget the angle that if there were women who were "threatened" like that, do you honestly think they'd air it? That would be a rare bird...

 

This question,"to be fair",could be flipped on the brothers too.Many women that date Black Men,don`t date us "exclusively".They will also date Latin,Indian,Middle Eastern,Italian,etc,etc.So if a Woman has dated a Brother,is it "locked" for other Brothers if that relationship goes bad?? I don't compete for men

 

If anyone should feel threatened, it's black men who are interested in white women. As the influx of the spanish continues in the US, you are seeing more and more white women with hispanics. I think a lot are interested in dating them because it's still more socially acceptable than dating a black man. Especially for the ones with the ugly duckling complex who turn IR because they don't get the attention that they would like from white men.

 

Yeah, this is what I mean. Generally, a brother is viewed to be the least acceptable option for a woman, and there are many down to date anyone but a black man as a result.

 

Like Mr. Spock would say, "fascinating". The genesis of the thought behind this thread began a few weeks ago with a friend of my wife who works for an accounting firm. The lady who is very attractive and is white lost out in the competition with another young lady "a korean" for a young white male who works at the firm in the dating game. She made the comment, "it looks like the foriegn girls are taking over". The reason I just threw it out "Ladies Are You Threaten?". This is just something I'm observing more and more with the change in the national demographics. It is predicted in the next fifty years asians and hispanics will grow in numbers. The competition in the dating game will only increase. Do some white women think they have a monopoly over the dating arena simply because they placed on the pedestal?

 

But you wouldn't want such a woman anyway so what difference does it make? Take race out of it and she might not be for you anyway (character issues, etc). BW's self-esteem issues have rubbed off on BM. Weak.
