It seems it's becoming more of a trend for musicians in Hip Hop to use autotune in their music.E.G. T Payne, Lil Wayne,Kanye West, etc. Do you like it?Hate it? any opinions??

I don't really like it at all. At first it was something new at least. Now it just annoys me

    Same.
EVERYONE is using it now. I kind of put up with it when it was T Pain but now it's just annoying.

Fuckin' HATE AUTOTUNE!!!!!!!! Annoying ass, played out gimmick It's meant to correct the pitch fuck ups in singer's voices. I hate when people think it's the same thing as a talkbox, and say that Roger Troutman used autotune. Autotune has been used way before t-painintheass started using it. He just made it his whole act. As if the beats weren't wack enough.

I was just going to start a thread addressing this same topic. I fucking hate autotune bullshit. I don't really care for T-Pain but he was even a little mad that everyone has been using it. I never liked autotune in the first place and it's been a lot of hits with autotunes and I hate every last one of them songs.

I sort of agree with LA on this in that it seems like a gimmick for gimmicky types of artists like T Pain.:smt029 Folks like Lil' Wayne know how to spit so they don't have to use it all the time like he does. It's just something to do for them right now because it's trendy.
