This is one of the worst versions of cockblocking. When a girl shows interest in a guy, maybe at a club. Then her (jealous?) friends begin whispering warnings in her ear and surrounding her like a flock of mother hens.

Agreed! Males cockblocking is one thing, but female cockblocking is the worst. The thing with cockblockers, both male and female is that the cockblockee doesn't really know who had ill intent in the situation between the cockblocker and the cockblocked.
