What do you like to do on weekends?

That movie was ridiculously good.... if you don't go in expecting a horror flick in the truest sense of the word. It had plenty of 'jump' moments, and lots of laughs.

    I'd recommend it.

Edit: And yeah, shit for gore...

Is that the movie where the fly goes up her nose in the previews?

Huh. I may actually sneak in to see this movie tomorrow. I'm going to see "Up" with a couple of friends and am hoping to make a day of it at the movies. We shall see if I get the nerve to see this movie. LOL.

Have you seen The Grudge or The Ring? Is it comparable to those movies? If so, I may be able to handle it. I'm such a wimp otherwise! :smt043

    Britty, yes.

I'm a horror movie buff... of course I've seen Grudge and Ring. This one is very much alike those as far as jump factor goes, just toss in a healthy dose of comedy. Actually, the Grudge is a rather decent comparison considering it's the same director.

What?? Movies are something people do on weekends, no? So, therefore, I contend that I did NOT hijack this thread. :p

Weekends are my catch up days for jogging. I put in extra miles on Saturdays and Sundays due to my busy schedule during the week. I run five miles on each days. Saturday is also my day for home improvements, catch up on work from the office, and martial arts practice with a group of friends in the evening. Sunday is my wife's time. That day is spent with the wife on anything she wants to do like going to movies, eating out, shopping, travel. That day is for her.

Our weekends are to an extent driven by our kids activities- ball games, practices, events, etc, and church. Plus I am usually coaching one youth sport or another.

We work around that with beach time, shopping or eating out. Weekends are usually an opportunity for Mrs Nose and I to do a workout together, either a long run or rollerblading usually.

Depending on energy left at the end of the day it is a movie at home or going out to one of our favorite night spots to enjoy a drink and maybe shoot some pool.
