I mentioned this on the "What are you listening to right now?" thread, but I figured I'd toss it up on here, too. Imeem.com is a music social community...you can make a profile and stuff like myspace or tagged, but the cool part is that you make playlists of music you like. Or you can just listen to individual songs. http://www.imeem.com/people/AxOiEax That's my profile. If you want to listen to more than 30 secs of each song you'll have to sign up, I believe, but it's well worth the 5 minutes it takes to sign up. It has like every song I've looked for so far, and since I listen to some pretty obscure music at times I'd venture to say they have almost everything! Ya'll should check it out, f'reals.
I love that site. Found songs on there I wouldn't think I'd be able to find. Gotta make a profile soon.
When you do post it so I can be your friend! It's quickly became my new favorite website. Homie of mine at school hooked me on it a few days ago
I found that website looking for a Maynard Ferguson song. I found that song. I concur Imeem is great for finding obscure music. (Maynard Ferguson is an ultra famous jazz musician around the 50's and 60's.)
I've been doin the Imeem for the past year now. The only other site I've found that's almost as good is Jamglue or Lastfm. Other than that, nothing really compares.
Ahh, it's my luck I find out everything after everyone else. lol Oh well. I still am in love with this site, omg. I've constantly got an Imeem tab open now. I'm in heaven.
