How many times has something happened in a day that you didn't expect?

I've had things happen and met people that I didn't plan, so I guess the reason I started this was to say that if you are meant to meet someone by the "playa GODS" you will.

I'm out of the mode of approaching women or going after them because I'm kinda tired, kinda more concerned about getting my shit right again (financially), etc.

My attitude is if I meet a babe it'll happen when it is suppose to, which is how I've met women in the past.

When I feel the desperation of wanting to meet someone I have to tell myself "calm the fuck down, whatever is meant to be will be".

    Is that nuts?

Sometimes people come into your life at the worst possible times. Situations are complicated, life, jobs, money etc. However, I firmly believe that that person was meant to be there. It is up to you to make it work out. Everyone has had that feeling of "oh, this was meant to be".

Thats when you know the gods are smiling on you :D

I do believe as you do. Something happened to me recently where I was just in the right place and things happened. Later in the car I was listening to the radio and the Stevie Wonder song As came on which I have not hear in ages. And the line about God knowing exactly where he wanted you to be placed. And I was like yeah. :D

    Nope.

    Don't believe in God.

    Don't believe in fate.

Don't believe in sitting around and waiting for something to happen.

If I want something, I go out and get it.

No it's not nuts, get your shit right before you start chasing women. Your relationship(s) will be all the better for it.

    Yeah...things happen for a reason.

Too many things have happened in my life that have led me places I never would of gone otherwise. I have to believe that some sort of fate has stepped in.

That being said...I dont think that you will find someone sitting around your house and waiting. You do need to put yourself out there so that you can be seen. ;)

I believe in God and fate.

que sera sera, if its meant to be it will be. That is something you can not change. It will happen if it is meant to happen, but that does not mean you should sit around and wait for it to happen. You have to put some effort and energy into it.

I never lived my life that way. I take much flake from others who say I 'm trying to be white by going to school, trying to improve myself physically and mentally. I'm reminded of an old cartoon of two vultures on a tree branch in which one of them says "wait my ass I'm going to kill something". I see too many people around me who are willing to wait for something given to them because they believe that is the way life's hand is delt to them. It's like somebody owes them so they are willing to wait for someone to give them something that is as they believe owed to them. The hell with that shit. Stagnation does not compute with me.

In terms of your career, physical fitness, etc. hell yes take the bull by the horns. I was referring to meeting someone you'd like to really settle down with.

I went out last night and I went out to have a good time, not to find a mate. If I had gone out to find a mate or a woman to be exclusive with, then it would have been a train wreck.

That's what I am more referring to, when it comes down to personal, deeper relationships.

Trying to go out and "make it happen" just doesn't work in that instance.

That I 100% agree with - either the magic is there - or its not - you cant force these issues.
Everytime I tried, it has NEVER worked so Im with you on this one.

That is what I was referring to as well. Sometimes people just come into your life at the most random times with no rhyme or reason. If you over think it, it will kill it. Those things are just meant to be and I think you should go for it. Other things like work, money etc. you have to go after it with all that you have. With love....sometimes it just fall into your lap

Believing in fate doesn't mean to sit around and wait for something.

I believe in fate but still do my things. Funny is that some things must happen, I think. You don't know if it's the fate that made you work for what you wanted.
