I first got hip to Jet Li in Lethal Weapon 4...

he was the badass dude who took apart Rigg's 9mm, and ended up fighting Riggs and Murtaugh during the final scene...

I was blown away by his arsenal

    :)

    dunno..

if you really like the man and his way of thought, i'd suggest buying one of his books

Dex216, some Bruce Lee books as part of the series put out by John Little. All are published by Charles E. Tuttle Publishing Co.,

Volume 1: Words of the Dragon: Interviews, 1958-1973

Volume 2: The Tao of Gung Fu: A Study in the Way of Chinese Martial Arts

Volume 3: Jeet Kune Do: Bruce Lee's Commentaries on the Martial Way
Note: This book compliments "The Tao of Jeet Kune Do" that Linda Lee published right after her husband's death.

Volume 4: The Art of Expressing the Human Body

Volume 5: Letters of the Dragon: Correspondence, 1958-1973

I grabbed them all when I saw them at Barnes & Nobles.

I'm surprised that my generation know so little of this man outside of the screen.

I started to practice, but my back could not handle it at the time. I'm still interested in it, but I currently have 0 time to pursue.

unlike a lot of other martial arts, that one seems to be a bit more demanding from the body..

your grand-pappy can take karate, but his ass wont be taking Capoeria

I took karate for 2 years. Learned a great deal about the body use of power and discipline. Then I had a heart murmur and had to stop!:smt011
