I had to share, I was all bursting with excitement. lol Thanks, though I'm not letting myself get tooooo excited just in case he turns out to be a pumpkin that's gonna change at midnight. lol But so far so good!

 

Don't be scurred!!! Be excited and have lots of fun, and if he tries anything bad you tell me and I will come and kill him.

I want a date too

 

I saved a turtle this morning at work. I was walking up to the back door of my building and saw something by the stairs. It was a turtle!! So, I went in, dropped off my stuff and went back out and snapped a picture and sent it to my brother. Other people were coming in the building and saw me looking and one of the production floor guys went in, got a box and another guy put on gloves, picked up the turtle, placed it in the box and we carried it to the pond across the street.

I got back to my desk and received a text message from my brother asking me what I did with the turtle. I told him, he then proceeded to yell at me for putting it near a pond and not in a brushy area, because she's looking to lay her eggs.

I told him I didn't know, and did the best I could. So, did I save the turtle? I don't know. LOL. But, at least, I got it out of the parking lot, so it wouldn't be run over.

And yes, at 7:20 a.m., that was the most exciting thing to happen to me all day. LOL! So far, anyway....

ok so...The night went nothing like as planned. *L*First we were supposed to go to dinner and then karaoke, but he had to pick his cousin up from the airport unexpectedly (read: his brother shoved the job on him at the last minute) so then it was supposed to be karaoke with dinner after.

But karaoke was canceled cause it's at a sports bar that was playing the Rockets game tonight. >.<

It was all good, though. We watched the Rockets kick the Lakers' asses (grrr. I very much dislike Kobe Bryant. lol) and then went to get some Mexican food that had good margaritas. Then we rented Slumdog Millionaire and chilled. It was a pleasant night, even though I really wanted to sing. Good flautas, too. Mmm.

And he's still really sweet and nice. I like him.

Hrm. Tomorrow after class, I think, if he gets done with work early enough. I wanna take him to the park.
