Hey what's up guys! I've been away for a while because a hurricane hit my town, and i was without power for like 2 whole weeks. Now that we've gotten that out of the way, let's get down to business. The Celtics blew a game to the Magic, which wasn't totally unexpected, but somebody pinch me....did the Lakers just get handled by the Rockets and forced to a game 7 against a team without Yao and McGrady? Somebody tell me i'm dreaming?

Nah. We were fortunate. A huge tree landed on top of the place next to us, but the place we were staying in made it through unscathed. Oh yeah bro, in the NBA playoffs, it's ALL about matchups! I knew last season that Boston had the matchups to beat the Lakers in the finals, and i know this season that the Lakers have the matchups to beat Cleveland. The problem is, i didn't foresee the Lakers having matchup problems with the Rockets. They have a HUGE size advantage over the Rockets, which they aren't exploiting for some strange reason. I can't believe this series is going 7 games to be honest. The Lakers are too good to be letting this happen.

They need to bench Derek Fisher and let Farmar play more this series because he's a much better matchup against the Rockets. Besides, Fisher has been shooting terribly lately and he's still getting a lot of playing time.
I can see why Jackson keeps him on the floor though. Fishers 3-pointers during playoff games have been like a dagger to the heart in many series in years past. The problem the Lakers have now is that the Rockets see themselves playing in the next round.
