Will someone write some sentences with the correct usage of the word apropos. I'm trying to understand it better but all the dictionaries I can find online and all the search engines are just making it more confusing. I know we have a lot of smart people in here and I have no one else to ask, so I appreciate it. Okay, back to work.
It's a fancy term that means appropriate or fitting a certain situation. Anything can be apropos to a certain situation. Here's a sentence taken from WikiAnswers: http://wiki.answers.com/Q/What_does_apropos_mean A white woman who wants to date a black man would find this site apropos.
