When you have the capital to produce mainstream films and be the marquee star in them, you are huge. This becomes all the more apparent when the film(s) open at number 1 in the box office. Don't let anyone tell you differently. And without having seen it and no intent to, it does seem more about the desirability of black men and demonization of white female sexuality than anything else. A handsome black male professional with a wife and son whose entire family unit is threatened by a blonde who's off her Paxil. Very calculated.

10 years from now, they're gonna re-hash this script with a new title keeping Idris Elba's role the same and switch Ali Larter and Beyonce's roles. I think by doing that, an element of comedy will be added to the storyline. You know how Hollyweird is with they're ideas. C'mon y'all, I know I'm not the only one seeing this.:smt102
Hilarious. Seriously this really isn't my type of show. These guys are a little extreme for my taste and they do tend to generalize. And I don't like the idea of men telling women what their roles should be. But I understand that this is shock (internet) radio and to be honest there were some parts that had me laughing and nodding. A lot.
I agree with you JamalSpunky, the show tends to have a hatred of women. It's like a trainwreck, it's horrible but you can't look away.
So, I just went and saw this movie. I give it a 'C'. The story line was decent, the directing/producing was sorta amateur and the ending was kind of expected. Ali Larter looks very sexy in the film. Beyonce's acting was the worst part of the movie.
"Obsessed" Two words: BULLSHIT PREMISE. Reminds me of that samule jackson movie (I forget the name) where he's the cop harassing the poor white guy/black girl couple. Would've been believable if it were a white cop threatening a bm/ww couple, like true history. What the fuck is hollywood smokin these days??
Would it have been more believable if it were a black woman stalking a white couple? A black man stalking a white couple? A white man stalking a black couple? or... A white man stalking a white couple?
its just a bullshit premise, no more, no less the women at this site notwithstanding, most white women aren't interested in black men who are free andsingle, let alone a guy with a family. but that's not the point. Thy could've cast the white woman part with a black women. Then it would have been a more believable and interesting premise. All black cast. THe fact that they cast a white woman makes it clear: this is just a "sista girl" movie, designed to remove black women's $$ from their pocketbooks.
