Adorable. My niece could say her ABC's, count to ten in Spanish, and recite the Pledge of Allegiance before she was 2. Of course, we think she is brilliant!! LOL Thanks for sharing, Saty!

This is a very heartwarming story. It is also nice to see aware and supportive parents.

I hope that her IQ doesn't alienate her from society and, more importantly, that she can harness her genius to benefit herself and (ideally) humanity. Wisdom is the essential ingredient, so let's hope she develops that also :).

    Thanks for posting, Saty.

    very nice

but they fail to provide the "inclination" of her geniusity.

She cant just be called a "genius" and left to be, because "genius" is way too broad a term.

My IQ is probably around 150 something in terms of mathematics.....but you try and get my IQ in say,,,writing--then its pretty average

But its nice to see such things.....makes you wonder the consequences of an arranged marriage between her and him>[IMG][/color]

Maybe that's because you're not a genius, BMJ? :D You're just good at maths?

Perhaps the mark of a genius is that they're above average in pretty much everything? I don't know.

I think it's probably too early to say anything more than she is extremely gifted.

I have heard that there is an identifiable gene for intelligence and that if both parents have it, the child will be intelligent and if they do not, then neither will the child. It's probabl significantly more complicated than that, however.

I KNEW you'd have a problem with this.

    After all.

You DID say children from WM/BW are SMARTER and more attractive than those born to BM/WW.

    SMH.

    Geez flaminghetero……….

    Let me medicate that theory.

Firstly, in terms of average intelligence, kids from BW/WM tend to be SMARTER than those from WW/BM. However, when considering the extremities [i.e both ends of the bell curve), kids from BM/WW out perform their BW/WW counterparts. Meaning, you will find way more genius’s from BM/WW, but like wise, you will also find more morons. (IQ lower than 70)

Secondly, I am currently studying the effects of parental DNA to psychological factors in relation to interracialism. We shall see

    peace

You are right,,,,,she is no way "genius". As I said, it’s a very broad term and should be more specific. I see the likes of her every day in the African black community.

As for "identifiable" genetics playing a role, again, unless the child has a "specific" skill and/or interest (think Mozart, Einstein ,stuff that run in the family), then the child is just "very clever", and "identifiable genetics" has little to do with it any more than the environment in which the kid hails from. The main reason there are way more male geniuses (usually these genius have a specific field of excellence such as art, music, science etc) is my main concern.

Do you think that if this girl was born in a zulu village she would have scored similarly on those iq tests??.,she wouldn't, at all. Her parents probably taught her well, and she’s advanced [very advanced] enough to comprehend the globe (probably more so than the average American), but lemme reiterate:: unless she develops exceptional skills in a specific field, then she’s just a very bright child, and you will see the likes of her on a regular jeopardy episode

I guess its common sense that a person that comprehends things easily will pretty much excel at everything he puts his mind to. However, an "extremely gifted person" can NEVER [with all the money and effort] beat a "musical genius" in terms of making exceptional music. The gifted person will reach a certain level (usually sky high), but he will never reach the level of a musical genius. This can be said about almost every single field, be it maths, or science.

Odds fish! You sir, are a villainous fly-bitten apple-john if you think WM/BM make smarter children than BM/WW.

You sound like a caucasian supremacist sir!

Come, come, you talk greasily; your lips grow foul.

Out of my sight! Thou dost infect my eyes.

Catastrophe doth befall this thread because some gorbellied doghearted giglet speaketh unskillfully on matters of psychometrics, genetic science, and child development. HA! I do say ... if your knowledge be more, it is much darkended in your malice.

You stifle in your own report. A cranium spacious in the possesion of dirt. Thou art so leaky that we must leave thee to thy sinking.

You sir... are a man of wax.

My IQ is "much" higher than yours saty.

    Genetic science??.. psychometrics??.hahaha

Seriously kid, if you want to test me in that (in fact you can add aero space physics, discrete maths, calc, psychology, geology, bio-chemistry, quantum mechanics etc) I will mop your ass with it, any day of the week.

In fact you can even challenge me on these stupid online "IQ" test,

You want to challenge??....hahaha---- you scullion! You rampallion! You fustilarian! I'll tickle your catastrophe!

The Gauntlet has been dropped. Piff! piff! Cross your cheeks.

The previous posts in RED, which were filled with personal insults, were re-edited by me to get the same point across - with a Shakespearean twist.

In a starry sky there are moments of luminescence separated by pools of empty space. Dost thou not view a similar complexion among the society of men? One should do well to brighten where there is already luminescence, so as to fill those empty spaces with light, lest one forsake the commonwealth of good men.
