I just watched the review. This dude squeezes up against the wall to sneak up on Wolverine, and dude punches a claw through is head. Then he gets shot, heals up, and starts going at the other dude's torso, turning is shit into carne asada. Damn, that shit looks raw.

You can't go into a movie based on a Marvel Comic franchise, expecting realistic stuff man.

I was drawn in by the whole 'Deadpool' character, and his uncanny hand-eye coordination and timing. I was watching him deflect bullets and go crazy with the swords in awe.

    :)

I've always been a Marvel Comic/action movie fan, so that shit was right up my alley

Ok, I'm not ashamed to say I really liked Wolverine, and I like Ryan Reynolds. *shrugs* We've all got different tastes, that's what makes the world a great place. ;)

I saw the movie this weekend and I gotta say that it was not as good as I thought it would be it was an alright movie though. Definitely not as good as the first two.

I have to say that the main complaint I had though was that it was a little too comic bookish, unlike the first two where I didnt feel like I was watching a movie based on comic book characters. I guess you can attribute that to the change in directors, kinda like what happened in the original batman movies, with Tim Butron directing the first two and then joel schumacher taking over and basically destroying it.

Marvel Studios should have brought back Bryan Singer to do this movie.

The glaring point that seems to be missing is that these movies are based on comic books, not exactly the benchmark of literary excellence.

Is there a way to screw up a film adaptation of a great literary work? Of course, but it is far easier to make a crappy movie based on Spiderman or the X-Men.

I actually enjoyed this movie. I was happy to see Gambit in the film, finally.

Agree with you a hundred percent. I think the change in director of the xmen series is increasingly obvious as they havent matched the first two since singer left the series.
I would like to see an xmen movie about the apocalypse as he is really the main supervillian for the xmen, or at least the one that resonates most with the fans.
