actually, there was one man who stopped Jordan....MJ ,who was known to challenge a referee's calls, was ejected only one time from a game.

The ref was Tommy Woods but I can't find any info on him.....probably somewhere floating next to Jimmy Hoffa.

These discussions are fun. But what would make it more so is for us to find a barbershop and really has this out. Who's down?

As far as I'm concerned, Kobe Bryant is not and will never be Michael Jordan. I wish to god that the comparisons would stop already.

If you really wanna know who the next Michael Jordan is, then look no further than the back-9 at Augusta every spring.:smt045

    Co-sign (maybe)..LOL

I think it makes sense comparing LeBron with Magic and Kobe with MJ. I could never compare MJ and Magic because they were too different as players. One guy was an oversized point guard that revolutionized his position and is rare in terms of his skill set at '6-9". The other guy was not considerably more physically gifted than most NBA players today. He had very good to great athletic ability but it was his "intangibles", clutch play and great defense that set him apart.

Maybe...but don't sleep on Hakeem and the Rockets. Jordan's Bulls never faced a truly great post player in the Finals. (Yes I know they got by Ewing's Knicks on many occassions)...I'd like to have seen Clyde, Hakeem, Big Shot Rob and Cassell against Jordan, Pippen and the gang. I don't think they would have had an answer for the one man capable of getting a QUADRUPLE DOUBLE in a given game. Besides that...they couldn't handle Shaq (though MJ had just came back)...Hakeem would have schooled whomever they put on him.

    All-Time NBA Team

    PG- Magic Johnson
    SG- Michael Jordan
    SF- ??????????????
PF- Tim Duncan (or Karl Malone)
    C- Kareem Abdul Jabbar

    All-Time NBA Team

PG- Magic Johnson (Bob Cousy coming off the bench)
SG- Michael Jordan (Big O coming off the bench
SF- Larry Bird (Elgin Baylor coming off the bench)
PF- Hakeem Olajuwon (I know this is cheating but he did play some at PF, Karl Malone coming off the bench)
C- Kareem Abdul Jabbar (Wilt Chamberlin coming off the bench)

    This team would never lose.

    I like that squad.

    Magic
    Michael
    Larry
    Hakeem
Kareem (I'd have Russell come of the bench for D)
