If a ww chooses to be with a bm who isn't exactly what other women would choose, who cares? It's her own choice to be with that guy.

If a bm chooses to be with a ww who isn't exactly what other men would choose, again...who cares? It's HIS choice.

Who are we to judge? Love is based on far more than looks. Why do we always assume that the odd couple we see walking down the street together are just in it for sex? Sure, that's part of it, but only a small part.

NONE of us are perfect. For each and every one of us, there are people out there who think we are hot AND there are people out there who think we are very unattractive. In the end, it's no one elses business but our own who we choose to be with.
As long as you love each other, that's all that matters.

And to say that someone's choice is 'below standard' is very disrespectful. I mean whose standard are we using? We're either using societies standards, which are dodgy, unhealthy and unrealistic at best, or we're using our own, which do NOT fit anyone else but ourselves and should not be forced on others.

I find these threads quite offensive. Reading them, I get the impression that all bm should look like some model or action movie star, and all ww should look like a supermodel or a surgically modified pornstar.

I think you are an admirable woman. Everyone isn't everyone's cup of tea but there's no reason to be judgemental. All human beings are flawed, whether it's in terms of personality or appearance.

 

There's a flip-side to this coin: if a BM prefers WW, that does NOT mean he will "date" any WW.

I have kind of a high standard when it comes to women because of the woman who birthed and raised me. I wont just "date" any woman just to suffice a need, she has to be the total package or something damn close to it.

And even though it is somewhat important I'm not just referring to looks either because when I say the term "total package" the criteria is also including, the woman's demeanor, attitude, sense of style, sense of humor, and overall outlook on life.

There are plenty more attributes that I could have listed, but I'm sure many of you get the point.:smt023

As a man always be vocal about what you want. The biggest issue with some of these women is that they have self esteem issues and some of the things that men have mentioned as turn-offs hit close to home. Thats life.

I guarantee I can find one link to match for every link that any woman on here could post of bm so called "putting certain attributes of ww down". In fact there is a thread titled "turn offs" with just as many women talking about the qualities they don't like in men.
