You don't need him now that you have two 7 footers, but i remember Mitch Kupchak trying to package a trade for Kevin Garnett before they eventually settled for Pau Gasol. A tandem of KG and Kobe would already have a ring.

Good shit. I'll be damn near unstoppable now that fools can't strong grab me. HAHA!!!! The most satisfying part of the game though was drawing first blood. Your just fighting and you just catch a fool with a spinning heel kick, courtesy of Rey Meysterio:smt081, and you hear that oh so juicy "splat" sound and the player touches his face to see that it's blood and the fool just fall out, passed out on the ground twitching and everything. That's when you knew the player took massive damage, when to drop a player and they are on the ground with their head twitching like they are trying to lift it up. :smt038

Yeah, I remember my dad telling me about Mitch possibly checking out KG. That's one thing I like. Mitch is a smart man.

Even though this is way off subject, I miss Chick Hearn. I loved hearing his commentary when I was little. Shame how he died too. RIP. I just had to get that out, with me getting back into basketball made me reminisce.

Homework: Check out the play at the start of the 1:55 mark, then find another example of a player hitting a shot while being guarded so well.

Just calling it like i see it.

If you want to post a video of a Laker player whose game should be examined, that player should be Pau Gasol, cause he's probably the best PF in the game right now, and his low post moves are truly a thing of beauty.

Right now it is looking like Lakers (I give Denver a small chance, <15% at beating them in the west) and the Cavs, who will get pushed by Orlando. Boston can't do it without KG and now Powe as well, and San Antonio can't do it without Ginobli. Utah might have had a chance against L.A. if Okur had been able to play, but now they are in too deep of a hole, and he is out for game three as well. Houston might have had a shot with a healthy McGrady, but they will not make it either. The only other team with the talent to beat L.A. is Portland, but they are still too young and inexperienced. Get ready for a Kobe/LeBron finals, the dream scenario for the networks.

Pau needs to toughen up in the post though. Last year, because KG handled him there, the Lake show lost. But thankfully at least, this year KG probably won't be there if the Celts get there, and Pau has been putting in work. Plus, Bynum is back.

As i've said, Lebron will probably win MVP but at this stage, the MVP balloting has become a joke to be honest. It's all about the "Bill Russell".

Aighty. I'll try to get my game working tonight to test the theory.

Sorry ass Lakers. These fools are becoming notorious for blowing leads. Not gonna surprise me if they choke again. Pulling this bullshit in the first week of the post-season? Come on now. How do you blow a 13 point lead? Well, I guess if they can blow the biggest lead in playoff history against Boston, then anything is possible.

Looks like the Celtics aren't the only ones who have themselves a series. I knew after the Lakers let the Jazz back in the game the other night, that it would give them confidence to stay close in game 3 and possibly win it at the end. The Lakers continue to blow big leads and give the other teams confidence. Not a good sign. I think the Jazz are going to take them to 6 games now.

And Kobe shooting 5-24? Ouch. That's almost as bad as Ray Allen's 1-12 game. Both series are going 6.

I have the series going 4-1. Look at my predictions and let that guide you folks, it'll make life easier.

I agree, Lakers will go 4-1 in the Utah series.

Damn. Kobe was 5-24? Dude needs to step it up. Leave that 20 percent shooting shit back in the regular season. We don't have time to fuck around. He needs to get it together next game. They need to understand that they need to win games away from home too. SHIT!!!!!

Check out the shots at the 3:41 and 6:20 marks, absolutely ridiculous.

That's what they call "feelin' it"!

I love how some of y'all think that after one 5 of 24 game, the sky's falling on Kobe. Let's see those comments now after this game. I'm sure y'all will pick apart this game as well. "He only had 1 assist", "Bron Bron would've had close to a triple double", "He isn't looking for his teammates", etc. Let's see 'em. I need a good laugh!

Damn, was the Celtics game today intense, or what? Damn. Double OT. I was gettin' pissed at Chi for leave Ray open so many god damn times and missing so many crucial freethrows. They could have avoided both OTs, had they stuck on their man Ray Allen. But I'm glad the game ended like this. This is the kid of playoff game I want. intensity keeping me glued to the TV and distracting me from my homework. This is a series I'm gonna enjoy keeping track of now. Garnett better wipe that sumg mean mug away like he was doin' that last game.
