Interracial research::: "BLACK babies" The question of my research was::: Do white ppl care more about kittens than they do about black babies?? Check this: A few weeks ago, while visiting New York, I conducted a study on the level of "sensitivity" (compassion) of Caucasian males and females towards young black (African) infants(babies), in comparison to their sensitivity towards little cute kittens, to determine whether they care more or less about kittens than they do about black babies?? My research process consisted of 2 phases: In phase1 I surveyed white males ranging between the ages of 18 and 30, and white females between the ages of 14 and 35 to determine their level of (or lack of) compassion FOR little [cute] and adorable kittens. And it involved the following: I had 2 kittens in the rear seat of my car. 1 was alive, the other was a fake. What i did was I picked up the alive kitten and requested random Caucasian passengers whether they'd want to keep it or not. If they declined, id return to my car and switch the real one with the fake one in an attempt to mislead the observer into believing i only had ONE kitten in the car, then id take the fake one and toss it into a near by trash deposit: The first individual tested was a White male about 18: He told me to go screw myself. As he said this, i returned to my car, dropped the live kitten on the seat and picked up the fake one, then walked to a trash can, and threw it inside. His reaction??....the guy got pissed at me,aggresively might I add, and gave me the finger, followed by name calling. Subject #2 white female, about 22: She looked at the kitten, and complimented its "cuteness". however when asked whether shed to keep it, she said sure, and asked for the price. So i walked back to my car, exchanged the real with the unreal kitten, and threw it into the trash can. She began crying, and called the cops on me. Anyways, i had about 100 white males and about 200 white females on this survey, and my observation was that about 70% of the males and 90% of females showed major compassion(and sensitivity ) towards the helpless kitten that was "supposedly" being thrown into the trash. Phase 2 was conducted on the same day as phase 1. Im not sure whether the time of day had any effect on the result or anything, however it consisted of the following(btw this was just a test, and nobody was hurt in the making of this, so yeah). The analysis was implemented correspondingly with the kitten study. The only difference was that instead of using 2 kittens I used 2 black babies. 1 real and 1 fake, and again, this test was PRIMARILY for testing purposes and no one was hurt. The results were as follows: First guy was white male about 20 something: I asked him if hed keep the fine black baby. His response? As i walked back to my car, and switched the real with the fake, and proceeded to throw the fake into the trash can. The guy was still unresponsive. He got in his car, and took right off. Not a single word uttered from his mouth Second person was white female, about 16-18 years old. Initially she began asking questions about him, however, as i asked if shed keep the baby, she said no. Did teh same thing, walked back to the car, switched them ,and threw the fake one into the trash can. she looked at me with a crazy look on her face, but nothing was said which to me is an act of carelessness. About 300 males and 400 females were involved in this survey and based upon my discovery, approximately 30% of males cared about the baby, which means 70% coudnt be bothered. (You had to be there to witness the amount of carelessness in their eyes). And about 50% of women showed a remote amount of compassion towards the black baby that was “sopposedly being thrown into the garbage bin.. Conclusively i believe this study was pretty much consistent with my previous perceptions of racial relations in North America in its suggestion that white men and women simply do not give a fuck about young black males from a very tender age. And this carelessness is generally what bridges the racial alienation most Black individuals face in this plantation we call Amerikkka,a native garden on which blacks not only grew up in, but also have deep roots, and a neverending amount of seeds within. But my question is, when will this careless of the majority towards the minority ever stop?.... My answer to that question is simple. Never, due to its genetic significant, however as the world merges into one, genotype,, I reckon it'll be easier for a white woman, to "feel" if you will, for a black child, the same way as she would, for a white child. But thats another research for another day.
ummmm... really? You are supprised that ppl reacted strangely when someone on the street offered them a BABY? WTF? No matter what the baby's colour, I would react badly if someone offered one to me... IN THE STREET! There is a HUGE difference between giving away a kitten and "giving away" a baby! No? Plus, did anyone seriously believe this guy was throwing away a baby?? If some stranger asked me if I wanted the baby in his/her arms, of course I would say no! I would have looked at the person as though they were crazy as well... and NOT because I don't care about black babies! Please... this is a bullshit "experiment" that only perpetuates racism.
Haha..man you never fail to amaze me!How many times do you get a stranger offering you a baby? I think most people thought you were insane..and probably walked off to call the relevant authorities...
I would like to know 3 things. 1. Who lent you a kitten for your 'research'? 2. If not your own baby, who would lend a baby for such 'research'? 3. And what would you have done if anyone passing had said yes to taking afore mentioned baby?
man, i see u r a sociologist, uh? your research does demonstrate that ppl is more sensitive about kittens then children. not black children, but children in general. u should have done the same thing with 2 white babies too, to valutate better the results. again, sorry for my english
Re passer by syndrome if u actually did do this exsperiment or if u did this for a college i cant see them giving the go ahead or the marks from it it sounds like an awful lot off work im sure we all know that its a proven thing that people will only stop an help depending on the consequences for them be it baby, kitten, dog, adult without knowing it we weigh up the amount of trouble we could put ourselves to. see helping out a kitten doesnt require alot of personal responsibility its a different thing entirely ur just trying to make it look as if someone would help an animal b4 a child. Now if u fancied doing it properely you should have used to separate groups 1 white male 1 white baby tested peoples reaction then tested the same location 2 weeks later havin given people local time to forget about you on the same week day at the same time with 1 black male 1 black child and i should imagine ur variable would not be that different. right now to me personally it does not prove racism just peoples fear of getting into mad situations!!. Its a shame you didnt do it properely all that work could have been 4 something credible. x
