Obviously I think the cover is great. It is very good to see BM/WW couples portrayed in a loving, kind relationship in a public forum, rather than the numerous "jungle fever" or other negative portrayals that are still way to prevalent. I remember being in London a few years back and being struck by an advertisement on TV that showed an attractive BM/WW couple, I remember thinking, wow, that's something you just don't see on American TV. Anyone else have a problem with the term "miscegenation" some of the comments about the story used that term and I find it highly offensive. I am quick to correct anyone who may use that term in my presence.
Wow i've looked at some of the comments on there, what a load of old gob shite, there was nothing even remotely offensive in that pic, I thought it was lovely a really good picture, its nice that the models posing were a real couple also.
I live in St. Louis, and here is what I have to say about this. There is Missouri, and then there is Missoura. St. Louis is pretty much a tolerant place, if you live in the city and the inner ring of suburbs (such as Clayton, University City, Richmond Heights, etc). St. Louis City (which is actually a totally separate entity than St. Louis County) is a very liberal place. It is very cosmopolitan, has two world class universities, and has a thriving homosexual community. And it is ultra-blue and ALWAYS votes heavily Democrat. In fact, the city is like an island of Boston, New York, and Seattle, and San Francisco in a sea of red. Now this is Missouri. When you get to the outer ring of suburbs and beyond (St. Charles County, western St. Louis County, Jefferson County, etc.) and the picture is totally different. That is Republican country. Those living in St. Louis City and the inner ring of suburbs live in Missouri. Those living elsewhere (except for the liberal Kansas City) live in Missoura.
basically in the media it seems to go like this: White men/East Asian women = A OK Hispanic Women or men /BM or BW = fine (maybe some tension but nothing big) White men & Black women = Not a big deal since the media thinks its fake Black men & white women = Call the KKK, white girl is a whore, black thug etc etc oh well

Kid,you are a expert in IR both home and abroad. I'm pleased that brothers are able to date women of every color in the rainbow in spite of opposition in the US. That is the reason why I never visit American cities to find WW in clubs,bars,or wherever regardless of their liberal attitudes. The same goes to Canada. I think people are more JEALOUS of the relationship that black men and white women have between each other than anything else. Lets be honest, there is a strong sexual urge between the two in most cases. Most of us on this site can't deny that. You get with the right one and you BOTH seem to just get out of control Have her lightheaded and dizzy, the room be spinning around in her head and she LOVES every minute of it. Be begging for more.
