Post emancipation, chickens were the only mean most former slaves could afford. They were able to catch free range chickens that had escaped their pens and they were pretty much the only livestock most had at the time. Chicken has pretty much always been the poor mans meat here in the US at least.

Most stereotypes came from that era.

sadly enough, one of the homies on the grind at the cafeteria, suckered me into buying some of these joints, but they were like hamburgers and even had cheese on top (he had them wrapped up in wrappers, alongside regular cheeseburgers)...

I took one bite and threw the shit away...couldnt even finish the sandwich, even tho I was a hungryass mofo

I'm not a vegetarian, but I absolutely adore those Morningstar Garden Veggie Patties. They're insanely good.

Odd stereotype since anyone that knows about blacks in the U.S. (back in the day)...would know that we ate rabbit, the odd parts of a pig along with chicken. Also strange considering we got our penchant for frying chicken from the Scots...we just added the seasoning!

Men who eat soy, do some research (soy and mens health) and then make your own mind up - Its not entirely conclusive - but at least you would be informed...

-Trust me, Im a biokemist and no, Im not joking... I told ya I was a geek:)

Dude, that was very uncalled for! Why the H$$$ did I deserve that???

I happen to have a Piled Higher and Deeper degree in Biochemistry (and I put myself through grad shool) and you can look up a lot of research about soy and estrogen - I didnt say it was a TRUE FACT, I said - read it and make your own mind up. and oh, if you have an issue with my grammar I deeply appologize for being a foreigner:smt085
