If your relationship is balanced both of you will enjoy different cultures brought to the table. Therefore, no one will need to put his or her heritage aside in order for the relationship to blossom.

The more open-minded you are the better chances. It enables you to fall into the exception of the rule category which is far better than being looked upon as a person with the stereotypical behaviour.
