http://www.google.com/hostednews/ap/article/ALeqM5iwIfCqM9pnuRpD9xBSOtK7MPBMKAD97BONEG0 It's wonderful news for them. I'm really happy it's happening in Cleveland where it should be. And I'm especially happy for Metallica. They really deserve it after all their hard work!
Alriiiiiight. Giggidy. First Flash and the Furious Five, now Run-DMC, next should be Public Enemy. :smt038
yeah, I heard about James and them last year...Dave Mustaine won't be inducted because he never actually played on their major label albums...I would love to see Jason again..I thought that guy was the coolest...no disrespect to Trujillo.
You know the Geto Boys "came back" a while ago. Does anyone know how that went? I didn't really get to check it out much.
They did invite Dave, but he was touring with Megadeth so he couldn't make it to Cleveland. He did congratulate the band, though. Jason was there and did play with them. It's good that he was inducted with them. He was an integral part of Metallica. He put up with a lot of shit in that band early on for replacing Cliff.
LoL, to me "a while"=a few years . As far as I know, they didn't break up again. Have you heard them since "a while"/few years ago? If so, what do you think of their comeback?
Last I heard of them was a few years ago, around 2005. That's when they dropped their comeback album "The Foundation". I heard the "Yes Yes Y'all" track on the Fight Night Round 2 game, but haven't actually heard anything else. It was a good track though. I think they dropped another album last year, or that may have just been a greatest hits album. Bushwick is doing Christian shit now, so I don't know what their status is as of now.
