Black people and chicken

I don't know. But, I'd be lost without chicken. That is a staple for me. I prefer chicken over steak. Steak is so heavy. I eat it rarely. But, chicken, it's so versatile and so dang good!!

Jerk chicken is really good! Went to Notting hill carnival they served some really good jerk chicken. Authentic caribbean stuff.Not like that rubbish you sometimes get in supermarkets.

Nothing wrong with liking chicken alot. Its a bit of a stereotype that western blacks tend to eat a lot chicken..Its more amusing then anything.
Its kind of a running joke, that if you go to a black gathering there is usually a lot of chicken...its usually the greasy fried stuff aswell..

The Italians have pasta, pizza..etc..we have chicken!

 

My friend used to gasp in surprise when I told them I don't like chicken. I'm like "shut the fuck up, it's not a big deal".

 

I am black and I love chicken...and I damn sure do not like asparagus and brussel sprouts

 

I don't like chicken much either because I've ate a lot of it. When I do eat it though I like it baked.

 

Well I love chicken a lot. So do my other friends. I use to ahte it when I was growing up eating it everyday for like a month stright. But now, man I at least cant go two weeks without eating it in some shape fashion or form. Like it baked wayyyyyy better than friend though

 

I never heard the whole chicken-thing before I watched that chapelle clip last week. I had no idea there was all these food myths...
All I know is all the old jazz hits using food methaphores to get to say sex-stuff on radio..

Chicken favorite:
Chicken with feta cheese and fresh herbs
or red curry with chicken.

But I'm getting tired of that bird now, I want some meat.. (double entendre not intended but noted. lol)

 

I admit it, I and many other family members eat quite a bit of chicken.

I know its not the healthiest of foods, but fried chicken can be addicting when its cooked right.

I couldnt imagine doing a chicken-less diet for more than 6 months.

Damn, dont get me started on a 3 piece dinner from Popeye's with red beans and rice.

And I can tear up some chicken from El Pollo Loco.

 

I m black and i aint gonna lie, i love me some chicken. i am southern, there is nothing better than bbq pork and fried chicken. others may not eat it , but that means more for me and mine
